For everybody else, as far as renos, it looked like the front door had been painted, at least on the inside, but that's about all I could see. And all the staff seemed extra friendly today.
yah man, not only that. They had an ad in the Province announcing "we're back with a vegeance!" which is pretty funny depending on whether they were closed for reno or suspension, hehe. Either way, it's good news.

The back of the tabletopper ad said that the place was closed for the 4 days for "renos", to serve customers better!
Sounds right for a suspension - have them close for the busiest days of the week.

Megan Foxxx was on stage tonight! OMG! I have never seen a woman as perfectly sculpted as her (and this includes girls from porn). Many of the experienced/pro dancers will keep dancing as the first song comes to an end, leaving it up to the customer to stop them. A lot of the time that strategy will yield a second dance, or more.
dude, that is good honest advice! The pro dancers do come in around 9-10:30 cause they know that's when the crowd of pervs come in :) And yes....of all the times that i've been suckered into a 2nd dance (when the 1st was lacklustre), i just ended up being more in the hole and more mad at myself! Where if a 1st dance is going good, then hell, it's up to u to add a 2nd haha.
You can't go wrong with Veronica, Mercedes, and Natalie. The best looking girls arrive at about 9 PM, so be patient and be selective. Don't go with the first one that asks you. Be prepared for a bad experience, before going upstairs, put 50 bucks in your pocket. If you are not satisfied with the first dance, get up, give her the money, and leave. The next dance will be no better, and the management doesn't care. Hope this helps.
re: YEP. Sorry dude but that is NOT the case with all the dancers! The ones that only give u a show at the end of a song...are the ones that don't know what they're doing, they don't understand that when u rip a guy off, you ain't coming back for more. Girls like Natalie, Veronica, Monica, they dance the whole song, not to mention when u get up there and a song already started, they'd just sit on the couch with you and chat till the next song starts. That gets major brownie points in my book :)
But yes, in general, don't have too much fun and get carried away, cause then you'll be hitting up that ATM with a girl standing beside you...and that looks really really sad. hahaha
I haven't had lap dances anywhere else, but if you pick the right girl the lap dances are very private and good. For the fifty buck fee you can touch em. Two girls I would recommend are Mercedes and Veronica. Give yourself a budget because the dances can build up (and the bill) very quickly.
@Ron: Thanks for the info, although like Jay, I find it funny that you posted here. I used to be a regular at the Cecil, and I was debating whether to go one last time. You helped me decide not to bother. The last few times I went, it wasn't very good, but I guess I was feeling nostalgic. Admittedly, their on-stage lineup has generally been pretty good the last few months, but that doesn't make up for an otherwise bad club experience.
@Ron: funny that a review of the Cecil ends up here while the Cecil board remains quiet. :) I too thought I'd stop in before it closed, about a month ago. The guy at the door turned me away claiming I was too drunk. (Had barely drank anything that night, but my long week of overtime must've shown.) I thought, "you know what? Thanks. I'd probably rather bed than what that place has become." And my buddies and I happily used to go there for lunch years ago.
Just thought I would check out the Cecil before it closes, total waste of time. Stayed till 10:30 only one private dancer working. The music was all synthetic noise, no vocals, and extremely loud beyond any reason. The DJ, Graham Morley was in the pit bobbing his head to the music like he was about to drown, and playing with the controls aimlessly. When he walked up to the bar to spend a few minutes with a drink, the music, for lack of a better expression didn't sound any different when he was at the bar or in the pit playing with the controls. His performance in the pit was a total fake. If you want a bar with noise levels beyond the level of stupid, Cecil is your bar.
W.Russian how true, but regarding Candy, you have to give her some points for just being so cute and cheerful. I have never done a dance with her, but she is so nice and pleasant it is nice to say no thanks, regardless how many times she asks.
I fully agree Steve, i mean....in a dark environment like bars, i can give her a pass on her tan, but if it was out in broad daylight??? Man, she'd look overcooked haha.
But when u mention beauty...friendliness and the haste to not immediately sell me a LP is even more sexy! But Candy for instance....my god, she is like the blondest airhead there! You are right about Monica and Veronica. Never been with Monica, but I know who you are talking about now. I have done it with Veronica, and she is a class act. I truly feel sorry for Cassandra though. At one time I am sure she was quite good looking, but the damage she has done to herself at the tanning salon was completely unnecessary. Why girls think they need to look like they are farm workers that pick lettuce under the blazing sun all day long to look beautiful is something I can't understand. Any girl can have a tan, with the exception of some blondes and readheads, but few can have perfect skin, which is the foundation of all beauty.
Steve: sorry to hear u also got treated the same way by the same dancer...u can tell she's quite shallow cause when she's askin u for a dance she's not even looking at u and is staring around elsewhere...that doesn't do it for me and I always feel bad for the dude when i see her take someone upstairs.
Also to clear it up, Monica is NOT Veronica. Yes they're both brunettes, but different looks. Monica = HUGE knockers, much more tanned (i mistaken her for part Filipina before haha), and more noticeable makeup, tattoos. Veronica = lil' on the taller side, straightup caucasian lookin' and girl next door friendly. Either way, you can't go wrong with either, guys :)

I had a dance with Cassandra(?) a couple years ago, before she started packing on the pounds and lost her conditioning. She is very short (5'2") or so, continually over tanned (too much time at the salon) and huge tits. Anyway it was a total rip-off. She seemed very sexy, but when I tried to touch her boobs, and I was being nice, not a jerk, she practically jumped out of her skin. Why is she even working there? She is one to avoid.
Veronica is very nice and a good dancer. Very recommended if you want a good dance with a nice girl, and don't want to have the what did I do this for at the end of the song.
