30 a dance IS high, so is $5 beer. the dancers actually go to every customer and asked for tips after their dance, $1 or$2 wasn't good enough either..... what a fuckin rip off

I was at Pleasures around Thanksgiving and the girls were great. Good variety and friendly. The DJ on the other hand sucked. He played alot of obscure shit that it was clear no one knew and played way too many slow songs I felt like I was going to fall alseep. Also there was some issues with the pluming in the bathrooms. The toliet were all over flown and it was nasty.

Who stated "i seen quite a few girls doing dances so i am confused on why people think $30 is too much for a dance." because dances are $20 in salina, topeka, lawrence, kc, tulsa, dallas and a number of other places. may i mention that in all of those places, the girls can actually take their tops off.

I went to Pleasures back in June (in the middle of remodel) and had alot of fun. After reading comments since july, I worry about going back soon. But the girls were great and if there are still some of the same, I would love to see them. Jade especially had a great attitude. Anyone know if she is still there?
are you serious? you ask what's so bad about the club...read all of the comments prior to yours, I think it's very clearly stated. The over the top remodel, the increase in dance prices, the owner keeping the cash instead of the girls, the increase in house fees, etc.

Everyone there is there to make money and like a "normal" business, we as customers go to spend money. Who cares where the money is going. Well, that's no uprise Big Mac. I have seen many business enterprises doing very well and then they get carried away and change the setting/environment which most pple are not very apt to adapt to. Human beings are just not very welcome to changes;we tened to like things just the way they are.

Pleasures DID need significant fixing up (carpet, chairs, bathrooms, parking lot). I'm not doubting that nor am I criticizing the club for making those repairs. What it did NOT need was gratuitous upscaling that really doesn't do anything but glitter and shine and only caters to the rich. Why do they need five stages when they didn't need to fill the three they used to have? This was, and still is a blue collar joint, and no amount of pretty furnishings is going to change that. I go to a strip club for the lap dances, and if I can't afford those, well there's no point in me coming in enjoying the new scenery.
of girls are leaving this place because it just costs too much to work there. House fee, ten dollars every dance plus 20% of any drink they sell and strict scheduling! If you can't find your favorite lady that used to work here I suggest you check the Wild Wild West in Salina or Jezebels
The place looks nice but only because the extra 10 dollars that got tacked on to the dances goes right in the owners pocket. At least across town at Jezebels the girls get to keep the extra 10. I don't mind paying 30 if it all goes to the girls. Now that the remodel is over and he is still pocketing that extra 10 and hitting you over the head for beer and entry fee it is not much fun. I just take my ass up the road to Salina.
How about bathrooms that don't smell like a sewer, and chairs that stick to the floor, and to yourself. The place needed an upgrade. It was time.
However, I don't think the $30 lap dances are the way to go. They're not selling them either. But that is their business. Your choice to get a lap dance or not.
I don't read Playboy for the articles. I don't go to Hooters for the wings, and I don't go to a strip club to admire the classy decor. Pleasures looked like a strip club before the remodeling. Now it looks like a hangout for upscale yuppies, much like its competition across town. Considering the cost of this remodeling resulted in a 50% increase in the price of a lap dance, I don't see anything to get wowed about.
manages a few nights a week and Ginger manages a few nights. I know she is there on Friday and Saturday nights managing and then she DJs a couple nights a week.
