Man I haven't been to this place in about 9 or so years. I guess at this stage my favorites are retired!...Tina (Brittney)...Stacey (Breeze)...there was one more skinny white girl that liked to tug on her nips. I also enjoyed the brazilians...Karla and Sabrina...oh and there were a couple of spanish girls (that I catually went to high school with) Man this place was fun. I never felt threatened. I just sat at the bar with my kangol hat on and moved to the stage whenever I needed to see more. The bartender Brenda was hot too...man I wanted to hit that.

Where there's a will, there's a way: The Brazilians are coming back as amatures. Amature night this week is Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The ruse is pretty transparent, but it might work.

No chance of any more "fun" at the slipper. All Boston clubs are the same-zero contact.
If you want to get touchy-feely with these gals you need to head to other areas. One way contact is the norm at Alex's. Some mutual contact is allowed at the clubs west of Boston but the real two way contact is in Providence. There are hot Brazilians working at most of these locations. Many of them started at King Arthur's years ago.

The Slipper and the Squire are two obvious options since the big issue for a lot of these girls is lack of transportation.
Alex's has been a second stop for many of these girls for years as well as the Foxy in Brockton and Centerfolds in Worcester. Providence is also a popular spot.
I find it hard to believe as well. It's most likely a back-lash from the recent lawsuit. It wouldn't surprise me if KA's lawyers are advising them to get accurate employment info on all dancers. This will sadly mean that most Brazilians will not be able to work there.
Somehow I'm sure that hey will find work elsewhere...
as of 9/1 all dancers need proper work papers, I was told that out of all the Brazilian girls only one will remain (not sure who), I was also told that this was the only club in the Boston area that did not check papers which I find hard to believe
Though I have no inside info on the Brazilian gals at this club or where they may be going you can rest assured there are plenty of them dancing all over New England. KA is actually just about the worst place to but LD's from Brazilians though the eye candy and stage size are great for just watching the show and tipping a few bucks...

About 20 of the girls will be moving on as of this week, this place is going to be a lot different without the Brazilians, on the good news front, I was told that the private dances will go down to $20
Im so glad this place finally getting what its got coming to them! The owner treats the staff here like shit! Managers feel they have the right to put their hands all over the girls and god forbid u speak up for yourself! U r right they will find some way to stick it to u and make up for the $ they r losing. Went there a couple of months ago. As always some hot latinas and black girls. You can get away with spending less money than most any other places, because there is no cover. Well only thing was last time I was there I tipped the waitress generously on the first drink. As soon as the first drink was over she insisted I immidiately buy a new drink or leave. I was thinking well maybe if you give me some time I will order a new buy not immidiately. Especially since she seemed to be associated with the owners I opted to leave. Havent been back for months. I probably would have been back in the meantime and spent some more money on them, buy due to that incident I havent.
Yoda, I can't see drink prices going any higher, they already charge $7 for beer and $9 for mixed drinks/shots, I would guess that they will probably charge a cover charge at least on week end nights.
My hunch is that if the club is forced to stop collecting a house fee from dancers and start paying a minimum hourly wage we will see fewer dancers per shift and higher beer prices.
There was a time when all Mass clubs, including KA actually payed the dancers shift pay to show up for work. Of course in those days it was the same four or five dancers all afternoon or all night doing fifteen or twenty minute sets...
It's hard to say what the effect of the decision will be. I'm guessing the dancer fees are the main source of profit for the club. If that stops, they'll have to find some other source, which is probably us. Since the club is nearly empty on a lot of weekdays already, charging (say) $10 to get in may push them over the edge from nearly empty to completely empty.
On the other hand, I'll bet the club has no assets that a court can reach, so losing the judgment may have no real meaning.
I'm assuming that the court decision will also have a positive impact on the current dancers such as no more $35 fee to work there? Also does anyone remenber this Lucienne Chaves stage name?

If you aren't making the money you think you should try looking in the mirror and asking yourself what you can do better (like grow a personality maybe?) instead of coming here to an anonymous website to berate total strangers...
Wow: I've only been approached for a dance twice in King Arthur's. I stage tip at least two thirds of the dancers performing when I'm in there, but it takes a lot more than that for them to typically approach a non regular. Lastly, I can't complain when KA's happens to be the least expensive club visit I make and I don't turn any dancer away. The only two dancers that ever approached me were both American, and both times I took lap dances. I don't require a KA lapdance, but for purpose of compensating a decent entertainer - I'm always open to it. In my twenty or so visits, I've never seen more than one dancer in business mode.
for all the guys complaining in here i got a complaint too! If you are cheap and dont want to spend any money then i suggest goin sumwhere else! this isnt a place for some free entertainment so dont get mad if the girls arent friendly that just means you probaby havent tipped shit! In case u forgot we are there to work not hang out! guarentee a good tipper dosent have the same complaints!

I made a daytime visit last Wednesday afternoon. The day shift was talent was decent that day, but will they fix Beacham St. I was worried about causing structural damage to my car, and refuse to drive that road at night. I've never seen deeper potholes on a public road.
