Yes, the Asia girl that works there is Ayla (not sure of the correct spelling.) She used to work nights but now I've seen her on the dayshift. She reminds me of a younger version of Julie Chen, the host of Big Brother and the CBS Morning News. Don't know anything about here. She has never once spoken to me or asked me for a dance. She seems to walk around with her nose in the air like shes better than everyone else. So good luck to you my friend, if that's what you want.
"and she came to me saying she was the best ha!!!!!!!!"
A piece of advice from a veteran of a thousand lap dances, Those dancers that claim they're "the best in the club", almost always give an awful piece of shit dance. Don't know why that it, but that's typically the case. I've never had a good dance from a girl who tells me how good she is.
I have never complained about the dancers or service ever, But this time it has to be said, I received the worst vip ever I have had bad ld @ vip in the past but omg this was pathetic shorted time, her name was catalina and had worked there for 9 years, I have had newbies do better, I probably will never go back after a dozen years and she came to me saying she was the best ha!!!!!!!! hope you become a better nurse
The word of the day is "fired". What exactly does that mean? It's kind of a relative term. Tom must have a soft heart. He "fires" girls but they all come back, (eventually). Well, almost. I know of two cases, one where the girl went over his head to corporate to bitch and the other is the infamous lawsuit. Those girls never came back. Otherwise, they all come back. Drugs, alcohol, arrests, cheating, threats of physical violence. In the end, all is forgiven.
Day time is just not as much fun as it used to be. With the absence of several hot ladies, mainly a cute petite blonde, the selection is ok but not to my liking. I guess life will go on especially if some hot new dancers show up.
I left for grad school 6 years ago. Came back and it's all the same girls. like I had never left. economy must be keeping newer girls from coming in or older ones from leaving. Sassy and danni have been here for years...must be like 15 years.
I thought I was on the in with venus now I must be on the outs I do not know of any special move, she practices .But she still is great, But I guess I will have to check out a new lady, diamond danni somebody help
Same old rehashed dancers jumping from club to club. Sure Heidi is back, sure vanessa is back. They will go where the money is, whether it's here, kzoo, omars. They really don't get fired...or fired for long. They are independant contractors. Rememeber, the clubs just want girls, and more girls they have the more money they can squeeze out of them. They really need to fire danielle. Women never make good managers.
I tried posting earlier, but my comment did show up. Let me state again that I was in Sunday night and received two dances with Cherish. What a body. I loved those fishnet stockings and the way she touched herself. She is so sweet, friendly, personable. I also thought Vixen and Candi were hot, but I didn't find Candi approachable. I apologize for being negative, but has anyone had any experiences with Candi? Maybe she was just having a bad night. I tried to tip her on stage and she ignored me. She then went back to the couch and just sat there. I would loooove to get a dance or VP with her, but not if she isn't going to be like that. Let me know! Thanks.
And a wonderful surprise tonight, as I was leaving Vanessa (formerly O's, formerly lansing vu) was on her way in. I turned back around and hung out till I got a dance. It seems she was finally allowed back and plans on making this her regular club again.
i was there too on fri night and saw her.she seems to disappear and then return as if nothing happen. i think she one of the people that post on here just to see if anyone has missed her. lets see, she went to kzoo untill she got fired probably the same at omars. she cant get along with the other girls.
Heidi was at the Vu tonight when I left around 11pm and working till close, I had the oppurtunity to get a quick dance before taking off. Apparently the posts regarding her not working there anymore are just the rambling lies of a sad and obsessed little man.
Who gives a fuck you say?? Deja vu and Tom give a fuck. Heard Tom got all frustrated and called Omars to see who went over there wed night. Well, treat your girls better and maybe they'll stay. Otherwise vu managers, Tom, Justin, and danielle, mind your own business. Sincerely, JR (who's got the last laugh now.!)
Very pleasant stop at the Vu. Passion, Monroe, Dani, Venus, Diamond Lily and several others were there making customers happy. Even cute little Tracy was there catering to her older customers. No problem with the Club today.
Poor Tom and the Vu. SEVEN of your precious deja vu dancers were at Omars last night making money. Don't blame anyone but yourselves for driving the Vu into the ground. As for erasing messages, keep it up cause i will keep posting til you guys listen. This place should be called Obama Vu cause you A-holes don't listen to the people.
This is a great place I have been coming here for a dozen years And blasters are right its not the same anymore it is so much better than ever, girls come and go I will agree if they are there they should mingle thats the only way to make money
Right on old timer! Stuck up is an understatement. It's gotten so bad in here the dancers expect YOU to ask. They stand in the back, or sit on the couch, and then ask one guy then run in the back. What's so exciting in the back?? Drugs, alcohol??? They don't even come out on red lights. I'm going elsewehere.
yeah, I had almost forgot about the days where the girls who failed to get a dance during the red-light specials had to kind of move around on stage. I never looked at them as "losers"....I took it as an opportunity to see what girls were available and then go up and tip them. Some were very appreciative and treated the customer nice in return.Of course those were the old school girls, maybe things have changed now. They wouldn't be so appreciative. They think they are God's gift to men and are kind of, well, stuck up. (now who might I be thinking of - perhaps Ky.......?"
Daytime, Wed., you will fine five-six of the same girls who have worked there for some time. All are good in their own way but the choices are somewhat limited. There are no new girls and some of the favorites have not been showing up. Still you can have a good time.
Yes, I don't know why they changed the rule where if they couldn't get a red light dance they had to do one song on stage. This will eliminate girls from not coming out of the dressing room and it will promote the girls by seeing them on stage. I also agree with fining them if they dont come out. As for Carmen, its not that shes 21 and can drink, it's that she's in a club which is 18 and above/alcohol free and can get the club in trouble.
what???? underage drinking???? not at the vu. ha ha ha
ask justin how many underage was drunk at his bbq behind the vu
as for carman shes 21 so what does it matter
im with you on the dancers being on stage if they dont get dances with the red light. they use to be call the loser dancers
I've never seen so many dancers not come out when they are supposed to during red lights and bachelor/brithday events. I remember the days when if you couldn't get a dance during red lights you had to go on stage with the rest of the other dancers. Bring that back. Some of these girls don't even try, just getting drunk in the back. And wheres the crackdown on that?? Carmen had her 21st brithday last week and was drunker than a skunk and supposedly working as well. Way to turn a blind eye to underage drinking deja vu!!
Granted, dancers should be on the floor when they are not getting costume changes or taking a break to eat, refreshing themselves. How they do it will determine the outcome. To harsh, those that can leave, might just do it.
I think the girls need to read what is being said on this bolg. They need to know what the guys want (more exposure of the girls) not just at last call, you know the last few minutes before closing. If a girl is to be at the club, say 11 o'colck, she needs to on the floor at 11 period not 2 hours later. I believe this is where management needs to crack down. They also need to limit the times a girl is out-side smoking, like once an hour. If the girl is out-side smoking, she sin't making any money and neither is the culb and the guys are getting pissed because there is no one in the club.
My point of view.
I'm not bitch'in about management, I am looking for improvement, perhaps to what was there before. In any business, there needs to be continuous improvement (or just being lucky) for long term survival. The Vu does a good about promotions and have made physical improvements to their clubs. The ones that I have been to, I rate well above average. But In this case, the issue is getting the dancers out of the dressing room and mingling with the customers. Problems gave testimony about the value of a little conversation. If management wants improvement, they have a carrot and stick decision, give dancers some coaching (carrot) or fines/terminations (stick).
this club has the same problems that seem to go on in a lot of strip clubs, i.e. girls hiding in the dressing room ect, maybe more so than others. But I think this would mean that the entertainers have more freedom of choice at the vu than other places. I've seen girls at O's get fined a hundred for leaving a shift early or heavy fines for other infractions. The good girls know how to make the money and are the reason I keep coming back here. The rest that hide in the dressing room are just kind of bonus girls, I see some pretty ladies on stage & get the occasional redlight when the feeding frenzy starts. The majority of the money I spend goes to the few that stay out and talk for a bit before asking for a vip.
Damn man why can't a guy give credit when credit is due, After years of bitchin' about Danielle she has evolved into a Great Manager and a Real Looker too.
Harry can be proud of the management staff he has in Lansing and the job they do. After all it is a for profit business, not a charity, and simply put the more money the dancers make the more profit the club makes.
It's Basic Strip Club Bizness 101 and the dancers who are the real pros's understand this and work with the managers and don't fight them over trivial petty issues like cigarette breaks and Bachelor/BD Party stage shows.
Some good points, but one thing remains: the Deja Vu is not what it was. With popular dancers leaving, others looking to leave and then dancers in the dressing room and not working the crowd, why come?
I'd be very surprised the Lansing Deja Vu closes. Also, I sincerly doubt it's an ex-employee or dancer with the negative posts.
Every place has it's ups and downs but this club has remained solid over the years and is a great place to relax and see some of the most beautiful women in the area. Whether you get on here to bash the club or praise it the Lansing Vu obviously gets under your skin. After all, if it was really that bad or doomed you wouldn't waste your time posting here repeatedly. My guess would be an x employee/entertainer or someone that got banned and wishes they could come back.
Have you guys seen any info on the feature? Tiger Wood's supposed mistress?
As a customer who over the years has frequented both the Kalamazoo Vu and the Lansing club, those of you in Lansing don't know how good you got it. Sure, there may be a bit of downturn right now, but the girls, the dances, the management, EVERYTHING, is still far better than Kazoo. And Kazoo still manages to keep chuggin'. In fact, they built a shiny new palacial structure a couple of years ago. So don't give up the ship, I don't think Lansing is doomed yet.
"Wtf - Do you watch any sports? they are always looking for the best"
thats right they are always lookin for the best. and they will change managers too if they have to. the best get top dollar unlike the girls here management rips them off.
mark my word this place is doomed unless there is a change of management. i said it once and ill say it again, this place is doomed.
There are differences between contactors and employees. But they do have one thing in common: they are there to "work", thus the term "worker" .
When I brought contractors in, I trained them in our procedures and the software they needed to use. I would also coach them about job expectations and the people they would be interacting with. I was responsible for this just like I was responsible for our employees. Training and coaching the workers is a management responsibility.
But now you have taken a cheap shot at the Detroit Lions. They have taken steps to improve their team. Wil the Vu management do the same?
As to how good Danielle looks, I am more interested in how she is running things.
" I've never seen any business improve by simply changing the "workers". As in any business, there will be changeover in the "workers". The question is: Will those who come be as good as those that left? "
Wtf - Do you watch any sports? they are always looking for the best unless you're the Detroit Lions who are bottom feeders.
Of course you could be like GM and let them get fat, lazy, overpaid, go broke, borrow taxpayer money, and let the union have ownership to rape you even more.
Buy some glasses dude - Danielle is one good looking gal and getting better everyday!!!
Also you had better look up definition of Independent Contractor and relationship to Management. It is not the same as with an employee.
"I may have to offer Remedial Classes in Stripper 101"
Unless you're being paid as a consultant, the training and coaching of dancers is a management responsibility. If they successfully accomplish this, the customers will be happier, the dancers will have more earnings and business revenue will be up.
DeJa Vu Corporate may have their ways, but at least you know what to expect when you enter one of their Clubs.
Tom, Justin, and Danielle all work hard to make this Club fun and it ain't easy in this economy. BWT has anyone besides me noticed the change in Danielle ? Damn she gets better looking everyday.
I may have to offer Remedial Classes in Stripper 101 since a few seem to have forgotten the Basics simply means making a customer want to give you all their money before they decide to give it to another Dancer or just take it back home with them.
There is still lots of money for the girls who have the right attitude, follow the basics, and be willing to work a little harder.
"Hey, if the dancers are unhappy, and the customers are unhappy"
so its up to the managemt to get things in order. i don't mean start yelling at the girls or rule with an iron fist. there has to some way to make the girls happy.
Ive said before that this place is about to close. its getting close my friends. an unhappy preformer results in unhappy clientel. sorry tom, danielle, justin maybe its time to move on.
I've never seen any business improve by simply changing the "workers". As in any business, there will be changeover in the "workers". The question is: Will those who come be as good as those that left?
Hey, if the dancers are unhappy, and the customers are unhappy, I'm not staying for a crappy time, I've got better things I could be doing with my time and money.
All I see are frustrated dancers, customers, and management . I also noticed dancers not coming out when supposed to as well. I say to management, save your energy and quit chasin girls out for red lights, and bachelor stage shows. Just "fine" them everytime they don't come out. Only thing they understand is losing money. If they're not happy, get out. These rules have been in place for years and are there to encourage them to make them money. Unhappy dancers make unhappy customers which equals a crappy time.
Here's my solution. I realize it's not perfect, but maybe it's a start. First of all, DJV needs to get rid of their sanitized corporate mentality. It's a real turn-off to all but the most hardcore customers. From the moment the customer walks thru the turnstiles, the customer knows it gonna be about money. And get rid of the vending machines in the dance booth and the VIPs. The company needs to stop taking a cut from the dancers. That just leads to cheating. Simply put, just charge a steep house rent. $150, $200 per shift. Then let the dancers set dance price.
The Vu has always had standards and rules for the club to keep things proficient. I think they should fine girls that do not come out on red lights. They have the dancers at their mercy because they have all their money at the end of the night. The dancers should be required to ask everyone, not one guy and hide in the back. Just a thought.
Another average night at the vu. Pretty much same dancers and attitudes seem to be tapering down. Although, the newer girls still have a long way to go to learn the business and hustle of being a dancer. I tipped a new gal like 3 times and not once did she come ask me for a dance. At red lights she only asked one guy and went straight in the back. If she'd ask me I had $500 to spend on her...oh well, her loss.
