I was at Lansing Melon Fest 2006. It's not what you think it is. It is a couch dance competition, not a beauty contest or an event to judge who has the best boobs. Last year, it started at 9 pm and ended at 2 am. The winner is determined by which girl is able to get the most couch dances or the most time spent in the VIP. Why go? There should be lots and lots of girls from all of the area DJV clubs - Lansing, Kalamazoo, Flint, Saginaw, Ypsilanti, Toledo. If you want to see some fresh faces or just want to try dances with some new girls, this will give you a nice opportunity. And the really motivated girls may offer discounted dances just to keep busy all night so they can win the contest.

To the asshole that was there at closing Saturday nite, get a life and stay away from this club. Keeping pulling stunts like that and you will drive off the best girls. From a customer.
Just got a question.... Recently moved up to Lansing from Kalamazoo. Anyways at the Kalamazoo club I used to get dances from Trinity (she was great) but I guess she quit late last year or something and to my surprise, I checked the dancer schedules for the Lansing club and I see Trinity listed. Anyone know if this is the same Trinity that used to dance at the Kalamazoo club? Thanks.
What do you mean when you say you're sorry for upsetting "those who are looking for things to complain about"? You're the one who came here looking for something to complain about; allegedly being ignored by the girls at a gentleman's club. There are plenty of fine clubs in Canada, why do you have to come all the way to Lansing to look for something to whine about?

Well you're wrong, whoever you are. Girls and couples do get preferential treatment at LDJV. I have no idea if girls like Chloe or not, but most of us guys can't stand her because she's fat, annoying and obnoxious! If she's the only girl giving you any attention then maybe there's a reason for that. Silly me, I thought this was a gentleman's club.
Drop the act Chloe. You're so transparent. Girls and couples get most of the attention here. I've never seen a girl or a couple not get attention at the Lansing DV. If you really aren't Chloe and you really aren't getting any attention, try using deodorant!

The short answer - no, the dancers do not ignore couples. Long answer - I'm a regular customer (guy) and I can guarantee you there are plenty of girls that love dancing for couples. If you see a dancer you like, approach the stage - either alone or with or guy - and tip the girl. You will likely get more attention than the guys sitting around the stage. If you're not shy, tell her you would like her to come over and have a dance. They will be glad to oblige. I could tell you who some of the girl/couple friendly dancers are, but then I'd miss out on the fun.
I'm from out of town and it was my first time in Lansing. Most of the girls ignored me, which I thought was bcuz I was sitting with my boyfriend. But Chloe came and talked with us. Do all the girls ignore couples? We went together but were planning on spending money seperately. Planning on going back, any suggestions on girls that won't ignore me?
