I go to the KOD to forget about the stress of the day(s).and not to whine about dancers when I go home.Dancers are working there and I am nothing but a customer.
You will not be treated nicely in expensive stripclubs in big cities like NYC.
So, you maybe need to think twice and thank the KOD.
No Zzzt here, Dancers get to comfortable with what they do. The money is too easy and all they need to do is sit on a guys lap to get money. The dancers take the customer for granted and don't realize that she is the one who pushed him away. Does not take much to keep a man happy. Especially when your naked. Observer is correct, and as for asking for a dancer. Don't forget to add the "He's a stalker/In love with me" comments to the eye rolls. Dancers have cause way more problems then the customer. Mostly from their stupidity. Also love it when a dancer tells you to touch her. Then tells everyone how much she hates guys who do it. More proof that dancers are messed up.
Because you offer advice on how a dancer could better serve her client, you're disrepectful? Seems that you are the one who's over sensitive. If dancers at any club stop respecting their clients they'll lose money faster than the housing market. if a dancer stops looking for NEW clients she'll be screwed too. Why because no one keeps ALL their customers. Some guys move on to other dancers or other clubs. Have you ever read Who Moved My Cheese? All people in sales should read it. Dancers most of all. I love the beautiful ladies, but teaching them...well that's a different story.
I'm guessing that the guy who responded to the dancer's reply to Bill was Zzzzt. He posts often on these boards, and is clearly a profoundly unhappy person with a deep hatred of women, especially dancers. Yet he's obsessed with dancers and strip clubs, and tries to feel better about himself by denigrating women every chance he gets. I wish the dude would just go away, so that this board could be a more useful forum for those who would like to discuss strip clubs with some degree of respect for the lovely women who inhabit them.
I can tell you that I agree with you on seeing some dancers sit around, complaining, not talking to customers.. but I've been in the game long enough to tell you that I know that's now how business should be run. Not all the dancers there are like that though! I was just trying to be polite and reply to the original person, and he already thanked me. I'm not sure why you had to get involved. I hate to tell you dancers, but Bill is 100% correct. These guys, like them or not are your client base. Ignore them and they will find someone or SOMEWHERE else to spend there money. I've seen exactly what Bill says go on in dressing rooms everywhere. Some girls are more interested in having one more cig, or joint, or drink than going out and getting a dance. Even if it's an act, you should go out there like the guy is the last guy in the club with money and he picked you. Asking the waitress for the girl would be great if it actually worked.
Wow, you appear to be taking this far more seriously than a $5/6 beer or a $10 dance would normally suggest. A relaxing hour at a club like KOD shouldn't typically evoke that much angst. Your a stripper, of course you wouldn't understand......anything! What you say sounds logical but it isn't. You like that your are being requested, but it don't make you move any faster. If anything when a waitress comes in saying your being requested, gets more eye rolls then money. Strip clubs are gossip mills because the dancers are little spoiled attention seeking brats. You would rather sit in back and make fun of the guy asking for you and complain about not making any money. That's what 99% of you dancer do, complain about not making money. All while you sit with each other NOT asking to sell dances. Then bitch when another girl dances for your regular because you were to lazy to go see him right away.
I don't understand why you have to make such smart ass remarks about what I said. You have to understand that not everyone has been to as many strip clubs as you and understands what a dancer's "job" is as you assume you do. I was just trying to suggest that instead of waiting for someone you want, ask for her and surely one shall receive. Most of the girls that work there have regulars and will go to them first and possibly stick with them for most of the night, but love meeting new people at any time! Obviously there's not enough time in a shift to talk to everyone & if you're in a rush or don't feel like waiting and hoping that she will make her rounds to you.. why not request her? Thanks for the advice because that's what us guys want to do at a strip club. Do the approach just like at a regular bar and make the girl feel "special". That's what strip clubs are all about. Making the woman feel good about herself. We men like to give up our self worth for a woman to make her happy. I stopped in at opening on Monday to catch the beer special and in time for the review. An absolute angel with dark brown hair, a white micro skirt and a beautiful smile did the walk around. I must have waited twenty minutes for her to show on the floor while all the other dancers were out making money. When she finally made it out to the floor she walked right by everyone else to some guy and sat with him for another 20 minutes -- he didn't even buy a dance! She rushed back to do a stage set then disappeared for another 20. What's up?

it's clear what's going on. too much negative publicity. this club is in the news for all the wrong reasons. no one wants to go to a strip club that a news reporter or the like could be at, at anytime. whether it's true or not doesn't matter. the customers feel it could happen. no one wants to have their private strip club time invaded by the media.
This used to be the #1 club. What happened to this place. It sucks. Whos running the joint anyways? Seems like no one is. You cant even get a drink from the waitress when the club is empty. It seems like no one gives a crap anymore. Its going down hill fast in case no one has noticed.

Hey, Iowa is great and the girls do tend to trend to the hotter and younger side, but everything is more expensive. Compare IA to downtown MN clubs and I think you might have some wheels, but to compare it to KOD is unfair. KOD has a great bar feel, great help and the prices on the dances are 100% perfect for what you get. Downtown MN you pay 2x or more and get the same dance. I like KOD find in MN and I also like IA... However, for a few beers and some great scenery, KOD is fine for me.

Metro Strip Club Files For Bankruptcy
A well-known and sometimes controversial Twin Cities strip club will stay open, despite filing for bankruptcy Friday.
King of Diamonds Gentlemen's Club in Inver Grove Heights is more than $4 million in debt. Owner Susan Kladek blames her soon-to-be ex-husband, Larry, who is in federal prison for tax evasion.
Kladek says the club will stay open and calls its future "pretty bright."
Much of the club's debt is back taxes owed to the state and federal governments.
