Stopped in last weekend. Liked the reasonable cover and decent priced drinks. Decor was good. Hot wait staff. Stage dances were not impressive. Most girls didn't do much when you tipped. Dancers were not as great as I'd hoped. There were a couple of okay looking girls (7-8). Most were around a 5. Didn't even get a dance as most of the better looking girls didn't ask and just sat at a table with a couple other guys (who weren't getting dances either). Maybe I'd go back if others have better things to report.
Any info on the dances at this club? Wondering about pricing and VIP options as well as whether it is worh it (i.e. is there any contact or just air dances). The old 418 may have been a rough club at times, but their dances were next to none. I did stop in here once just after they opened, but there were only 3 girls and none were very attractive...hoping things improved since then.

Well, well whispers is now closed for good.. thanks to the constant crime and a recent homicide on the front steps where a 19 year old was shot in the head. for those who constantly say its a nice place to go, make sure you just say no!. your opinion do not count when your impaired check it out now and you will find a bright orange sticker posted by the city of minneapolis. their liscense has been pulled and thay have been closed since 8/29. how you like them strippers. the only thing good about this place is that it is now closed!!!!next please.

I was in wispers a couple days ago met brett he was the old gm from 418 back in 1996 till 2001 and he told me he was going to bring back the old days this is the first time ive been here since it changed names its not as good as it was years ago but none of the clubs are but thay had some realy nice girls 2/4/1 dances free cover till 11pm and a very nice staff i see it becoming the place to be and he told me he is only charging the girls $20 a shift to work that should bring back the good girls i would try it with no cover what can u loose
all i have to say is that whispers is a very fun place to go and see pretty women late nights and there alot of clubs that are nice and fun to be at but when you talk about after bar close and your not ready to go home just yet stop by whispers. great entertainment and a big ups to all the bouncers for holding it down and keeping it safe by the way dj keep spinning my favorite songs (the white guy with the long face hair idk his name but he is the best thing since slice bread hahahaha) and yes im a white girl from the burbs (lol)
i see that whispers must be the most new popular place to be because i have been hearing alot of talk about this place but not knowing that i have been there before but at that time it was called the 418 i think, but since then the place has becaome a goldmind for dancers and a great place to unwind when a person has been working all week or even just want to relax so i'd give this place a TWO THUMBS UPS!!! Not only that this place has come along ways from what it use to be but i see that they have BRAND NEW MANAGEMENT, DANCERS, BOUNCERS etc etc. Just a new look and i happen to love the changes. i was back again to day what a good time and free cover till 11pm whats not to try it was slow but the girls where great very relaxing the staff was very freindly lots of bad postings but a most try for your self i think alot of these postings are false i read them for all the clubs and most of the time i find thay are not true but like i said for free decide for your self check out diamond shes hot
I came here for the first time the other day upon arriving to the Minneapolis area. The club opened at 8:00 as promised. I had actually arrived at ten to eight and was allowed to get comfortable. The first girl came to stage right on time and what a beauty. Soon after three other girls came off the elevator and each took a turn stopping to say hi. The second of the girls I decided to take upstairs. I did an individual couch dance which was excellent but the real thumbs up was in the V.I.P so I guess my review is that I would recommend the lovely ladies of Whispers to anyone.
I've been comming here for a month and the olny bad thing that I see is that some of the people that come there are jerks, the girls are sexy the security do their jobs, and its a very clean club not like other clubs i've been too. I also notice that the some of people that complain about the club still come there looking for the hook up.

since the club opened 1998 they have been fuckin the custermers literally and fincially i was one of the managers till 2001 brad wanted my job and told owner i was on drugs then stole $ from club like all the other clubs he worked at and tyra her dances were so clean nobody got a bonner ghetto club ugly girls piss poor management club was raided 2001 alot of tickets from police trust me when i say stay away rate 0
I used to work at the 418 and made mad money being one of the few white girls. Left because the managment turned pimp. Went there recently, still has nothing but gun shot victims as dancers. Why would you close down a club for remodling but leave the worst aspect of the club there? This club must be run by some uneducated mofos!

I would second that comment. This place is by far the worst club in town. Very ghetto. No girls, no management, & highest prices in town. Try Choice (no liquor) or Saville (Liquor).

I Used to work here when it was the 418 for 3 years. havent worked there for 3 years now but i just started up at the Bears Den working thurs-sat and i really like it. however i will be staying in the cities sun-thurs and would like to know if you could use another girl on the roster for tues or wed night. Im looking forward to seeing how it looks now. I will be coming in tues night 3/27 at 8pm to talk to whomever is managing. I will bring my stuff with in case u want me to start. I end up going to Choice much more than Whispers, because, I can park free evenings, my first drink is free, my second drink is reasonable, and regular dances are only $20.
What this means is that I get more dances for my money at Choice. Plus the vibe at Choice is pretty good. Both clubs have great dancers, but I'm at Choice more often than Whispers. No I'm not a Choice employee ripping on Whispers, that's just the way it is.
Visited this club about 2 weeks ago. Doesn't open until 8 pm. Real nice red head gave me a tour of the place. The upstairs VIP area is way to open for me. Not enough privacy. Can't you turn the F'n lights down? Another thing that sucked was there was some jerk upstairs whom you had to pay first and he stood there and watched the chick dance. Put the guy downstairs where he belongs. Get a clue. Customers will spend money if you don't put up so many road blocks.
