yes the skyway closed and got sold it's been sad it may not be the nicest lookin bar but the atmosphere was amazing at times it will be a high class bar like we need any more but I hear it will be two floors the old staff will not be working there any other questiins ask
"Business is closed" -- On Wednesday, 6/30/10 (around 8pm) a sign on the door said: "Business is closed, see ya in October". And yes, the place was closed. The previous Thursday (6/24) business was booming (amateur night).

I did a lot of Google searching, but can't find anything about the closing. Darn, literally dozens of review sites reviewing this place, but none that I've seen so far (July 6) with any info about the closing. What does "see ya in October" mean? Who knows.

The girls at augies have nice bodies i work there i see it all the time. Some white men kill me, you act like its a crime to shake that ass and like its a crime to have one but when you get a taste of what mocha mommys are working with you all stuck for life. About the mixed girl with tracks all over her arms and legs !! stay awat her name is chanel and she is a junky whore! at the lsat club she worked at she started "dating" a guy and got him hooked on heroin and one night after he bought the drugs(of course) and she shot him up with a hot dose he o.d.ed and died while laying on the floor next to her and she just stepped over the dead body and left! no 911 call or anything that's a junky whore for ya! and i am almost certain she has contracted a disease from sharing needles so i know alot of guys come to these clubs looking for cheap hookers but this girl is one you should stear clear of!

You know who is reall awesome here? The pissed at the world bartender who looks like he wants to kick your ass when you order a drink. I think he may havee been too busy serving himself. How this place stays open I'll never know, low rent clientele and icky women.
I love the skyway. they know how to pour a drink, the girls aren't vultures as far as trying to solicit dances, the food is great and the music is the perfect volume. the women aren't silicone whorebags like the ones at rick's and they don't have bullet scars in their asses like the girls at augies. if you're looking for a nice comfy place to watch some ladies and swill a few cocktails, this is it.
as far as the dances go, i got my money's worth- unlike deja vu, they actually dance through the whole song because the whole song is played!!!!! :)
Went last Friday afternoon. Not busy and few girls working (3 when I got there). I remember Destiny, Exotica, Monique, Brandy, and 2 others. I can't believe they can get away with $25 dances there as it looked like the dances were no touch and very much in public view of the bar. Unless you can get 2 or 3 dances for $25, I would go elsewhere. Some of the girls were very nice to talk to though, and there was certainly no push for dances.

This place is the best! It is a hole in the wall topless bar with cheap drinks and even cheaper women. Although in the last few years they have stepped it up a little bit. I was extremely upset to see the good ole juke box go away. The dancers actually used to pay for their own music! It?s a nice break from the Minneapolis bar seen, however it will soon be a memory. The owners are only allowing month to month leases, in preparation for a major renovation. It is too bad, I really enjoy crappy strip clubs and this is the last one of its kind downtown.
Hi, if you are asking about the same Kitana I know (she is a very sweet and beautiful asian girl), she is now at Dreamgirls. Not sure what days she works, but I often see her on weekends.
As someone who is a fairly regular customer at Skyway all I can say is that the comments on this board are apparently from someone who is bitter about being fired..
From what I have seen the customers are pleased. Drinks are low in price for Minneapolis. No cover. The dancers are attractive, no they are not all from the "Barbie" factory that so many clubs seem to get there dancers from, but they actually can have a conversation that doesn't begin with "Ready for a dance?"
I say that the club is worth a look. With no cover, the only investment is a couple of bucks for a beer. If it isn't for you, the silicone palaces are nearby.
Wow. Lamest joint I've been in. No cover, cheap beer, but a skanky-ass hole in the wall if there ever was one. One of the girls was on stage answering her cell phone half the time. The "VIP" area is a couple of ratty couches in the back. It was actually kind of funny how much this place sucks, but not funny enough to make me want to go back anytime soon.
For all you lovely people out there looking for me, I am now at Rick's Cabaret. Mon-Fri. 11am -7pm. And for all you lovely ladies out there that thought that I was a B.
