Bearnaise sauce would certainly add some calories to your dish, but that sounds gooood.
I wonder what's good at Cheerleaders. They should post their menu on their website. That would probably help their food sales.
I'll have to try Pizza Italia, in Bloomfield. Maybe I'll have a pizza from there delivered to the Cricket. It's not too far away. I'll also have to make it over to the South-Side to try a Steak & Cheese hoagie from The Pittsburgh Steak Company, along with a Lambic Framboise, and a Castille Rouge.
Have you ever eaten at Rolands Seafood Grill? That is the best, affordable seafood restaurant in Pittsburgh. They give huge portions, and giant shrimp. Their Surf n' Turf is amazing, and they have a raw bar, too.
Pizza hut is OK, but it's big chain, corporate pizza. The ingredients for a Pizza Hut pizza come in frozen from a truck.
Mineo's Pizza is the best Italian pizza from a Jewish neighborhood that you will ever have. If you have never tried Mineo's pizza, go grab yourself a pie. The original location for Mineo's is on Murray avenue in Squirrel Hill. There is one in Mt Lebanon also.
Someone was posting anonymously...and I revealed that they weren't as anonymous as they thought. That's all I meant.
Oh...and in order to talk about Cheerleaders, I guess it would help if you were actually allowed in there. Sorry again about your luck...
And if you need any advice on how to get back in to a stripclub that you're barred from...just let me know. Ha ha.
Okay, we are way off topic here (yes...somewhat my fault). Let's get this back on track.
An excellent 2-fer-Tuesday tonight...best in...awhile. Tonight's lineup included all four CL dancers from last year's Top 10 list...Holly/Zoe (#1), Valentina (#5), Roxy (#7), and Wilder (#9)...as well as several other outstanding entertainers...Farrah, Tiffany, Tori, Gina, etc. Saw Natasha and Giovanna from Club Erotica...both gorgeous. That's a great steal for CL...if they stick around. And one of my favorite dancers, Valerie from the Filly Corral, is now dancing here billed as Paige.
Finally, "A Customer" will be happy to hear that the great Alainah is rumored to return next week...
Gee.. i had to scroll back through six months of comments to find the babushka discussion. according to many sources on the web, the common, russian, translation for babushka is grandmother, or an old woman. if it also means butterfly, then thanks for the insight.
paka (до свидания)
incredible!!! I canít believe I walked in on a chat about about Ceremony. After Upstage It was moved to Pegasus until it started to fizzle and they pulled the plug around two years ago. It is now awaiting resurrection.
Remedy is on Butler st in Lawrenceville. I do every 4th Saturday of the month there, I dj the Moose occasionally but used to every other Sunday. Yeah, I Know Dingbatz, though I'm not sure if I know Candyblades. That's funny that you brought up Ceremony.. lol... I was just bs'ing with an old friend about it. I used to go every weekend starting back when I was 16 . Goodtimes. Man, I miss Laga and the Upstage.
Where is Remedy, and when is the next hanging Garden? I'm a big fan of Goth/Industrial.
Also, when are you at the Smiling Moose. I have a few friends that DJ there. Do you know DJ Dinbatz or DJ Candyblades?
Also, did you ever hang out at Ceremony at the Upstage?
I Dj pretty much just as something to do. I do get paying gigs though but it doesn't really pay all that well once the house and the door get their cut. It's fun though. I spin at the Smiling Moose from time to time, The Rex Theatre and I also do one saturday a month at Remedy for a goth/industrial thing called the Hanging Garden. You can make a decent living at it if you get good gigs at bigger venues, once you make a name for yourself the gigs become more frequent. I only spin goth, industrial and new wave 80's so my venues are pretty limited. Equipment sadly, is expensive. My decks shit the bed not too long ago so I'm using an older set. You'd be lookin at a few thousand for a good set up. (decks, amp and mixer, or a laptop)
Wow Nadine! You DJ at clubs too? How is it? I know a guy that is a DJ. He spent alot of money on equipment but it all paid for itself with the money that he made. Now I'm thinking of getting into it. Did you have to spend alot for equipment? And is it paying off for you?
That was part of a fantasy posted by the asshole known as MP. In MP's imagination, I suppose anything is possible including tripping on crystal meth. In reality, MP is an ugly man and a total asshole. He would never be able to attract 6 dancers without paying them with cash or drugs.
The dancers that MP gets are either drug addicts (including crystal meth heads), and/or total douchebags.
You can't actually trip on crystal meth. It basically induces insomnia. One can stay up for days on that stuff. Once the body goes without sleep for too long it causes hallucinations. Audio, tactile and visual hallucinations. These sensations make one seem like they are tripping when all it is is the bodies natural reaction to sleep deprivation.
When he is allowed to drive, he parks on the street all the time.
If you ever walk into Cheerleaders and it appears like they made him some kind of a manager, immediately familiarize yourself with all the fire exits.
I'm partial to Bitburger, Hofbrau, and Grolsch...
Haven't been to Smokin' Joes in years. I'm actually surprised to hear it's still open. A great beer bar indeed...
There's a newer bar in Bethel Park called Barley's and Hop's that has an excellent beer selection and live music. Although it's poorly located in a shopping center which takes away from its panache. (However...it IS only seconds away from the Tennyson Lodge...bare-aoke!!)
Smokin Joes is a great beer bar. You have to do FatHeads, Sharp Edge, Bocktown and Bottleshop too. Rolands also has an awesome bottle collection, but Smoking Joes and Fatheads probably have the most on tap.
Yes, I am familiar with Smokin' Joe's. That place has been there for a long time. I seem to remember Smokin' Joe's being on that corner before the Tiki, The Town Tavern, or anything else that currently surrounds it. I have written Lambic Framboise & Castille Rouge on my palm in permanent ink. Next time I'm there, I'll have to try those. To be honest, the Stella tastes a little bitter to me. Maybe it's an acquired taste.
Honey Brown is indeed some tasty brew! I've always been partial to Lambic Framboise and Castille Rouge but in a pinch the Honey Brown does fine by me. If your a beer drinker check out Smokin Joes, they have an obscenely large selection to choose from.
Ever drink Dundee's Honey Brown. Well, I like it. I've been drinking it ever since they first came out with it, back in '94. Tell Cheerleaders to go ahead and keep a cold case of that under the bar for me. would ya?
That makes you a stationary stalker.
Look, time is money. If Nadine wants me to be her stalker, then she'll have to submit a formal request, along with a $500 retainer. Gas is near $3.00 a gallon. I got mileage and everything else. Plus opportunity cost. I have more important things to do with my time.
Mr MP telling other people that they are barred from a club?... LOL.
MP is the same guy that got tough with Jason, the manager of Club Erotica, and three other bouncers. Not only did he get barred from Club Erotica, but they broke his nose, and a gave him a hairline fracture of his orbital bone. He has a history of starting troubles and that wasn't the only time he got his ass kicked in a club. To ad to that, he has been barred from many clubs. WTF??
If there is a threat to the privacy and the safety of the dancers, it is MP.
Hey MP, you got any new personal pictures from any of the dancer's Myspace pages that you want to post?
Careful now. Watch that temper. That's what got you barred from Cheerleaders. You became a threat to the privacy and the safety of the lovely ladies. ;-)
Oh, and...ummm...burgundy Chrysler LeBaron???
(Come on. I may not be the best stripclubber out there anymore. But I'm still the best connected. If a cockroach crawls across the dressing room floor of the Pretty Kitty...I know about it.)
Oh for cryin out loud.... there was nothing illegal about the 'drinking contest'. MP and I were go go shot for shot one night for shits and giggles. It got blown out of context when some sniveling little shit decided to put his shitty 2 cents in. What's the big deal if a few people wanna get blitzed and post about it? Ugh.... grow up.
What color car do I drive. If you claim to know where I park my car then you must know what color it is. You say that Cheerleaders is upset with me for parking two blocks away instead of using their valet? If they are going to be upset with anybody, it should be you! After all, you were pulled over for a D.U.I. after leaving their club. Isn't that what you posted on here?
Let me see if I got this right. You were trying to arrange an illegal drinking contest in a licensed establishment when alerted the club by email? Let me tell you something, that person had an obligation to do so and this establishment is lucky that this person came forward with that information. If you are planning another drinking contest in a licensed establishment, post time & location. I will personally turn it over to Liquor Enforcement.
Well, first of all, I don't think it's appropriate to put people's real names on here. Even I would consider that to be low...
Next, even if I did post your name, you could just say, "No, that's not me." And we would have no idea if you were telling the truth or not.
For example, I could say, "Is your first name M***?", and you would just respond, "Nope, you have the wrong guy." But that wouldn't necessarily prove that I was wrong, would it?
