"One can simply walk in the Doll House with a gun and fire away."

That's the claim made in a lawsuit filed on behalf of a man who was shot in the back at the Sandy Springs strip club.

Dameion Saunders, 40, is suing the club, its CEO and security for alleged negligence. Saunders was at the business Feb. 6 when he was cornered by two gunmen and shot in the back, according to police.

Doll House CEO Theo Lambros declined to comment on the lawsuit, which was filed in Fulton County State Court.

Saunders told officials he'd been receiving threatening messages over a money issue before the shooting.

A second victim was hit by random bullets but was expected to be okay.

One of the alleged gunmen, Anthony Lloyd, was charged with aggravated assault and attempted murder, according to authorities. Police are "working with additional agencies" to get the second shooter in custody, Sandy Springs police Sgt. Sam Worsham said Tuesday.

The lawsuit contends the club requires security due to the "inherent risk and danger" associated with the adult entertainment business. It says there was no security personnel or metal detector at the door, no warning and no frisking or visual inspection of patrons.

Daniel Kane, Saunders' attorney, said his client is still under intense medical care.

Saunders seeks an amount to be determined at trial.

The lawsuit comes after the Doll House experienced some trouble in December, when it was one of three adult entertainment establishments raided by Sandy Springs police. Nineteen citations were issued to its employees, and a 28-year-old woman was arrested for alleged solicitation of an illicit sexual act.
