Police said they found illegal activity and arrested two women at a Franklin strip club.
Agents from the Ohio Investigative Unit, Franklin Police and the Warren County Drug Task Force raided the club March 31 after a three-month investigation, they said.
New York-New York Cabaret on East Second Street was cited for 18 violations, including drug sales and use, nudity and solicitation.
Allison Hindy, 22, of Point Pleasant, West Virginia is charged with illegal sexually oriented activity in sexually oriented business. Kaitlyn Kelly, 19, of Waynesville is charged with knowingly obtaining, possessing or using marijuana.
The club was cited on five counts of drug possession, three counts of drug sales, two counts of drug use, one count of nudity, one count of engaging in sexual activity, one count of solicitation for anything of value, one count of disorderly conduct, three counts of permitting removal of beer or intoxicating liquor sold for on premise consumption, one count of insanitary conditions (fixtures, equipment, tables, counters, coolers/refrigerators or utensils not clean or sanitary) and insanitary conditions (alcoholic beverages not maintained in potable conditions).
The Ohio Investigative Unit said that the club is free to operate but was unaware if it still is open.
The violations will be brought before the liquor control commission, which usually takes several months.
Kelly and Hindy are set to appear in court April 18.
