A man is in jail after he allegedly shot at a Fargo strip club and then sent police on a chase in the metro.

Police say it happened the night of Wednesday, April 11, around 11:30 at the Northern Gentlemen's Club on 10th Street North.

Authorities say the bouncer wouldn't admit 47-year-old Pedro Dagdag III into the club, and then Dagdag pulled out a weapon and shot at the building.

Dagdag then took off in his vehicle and headed toward West Fargo, starting a police chase. Eventually, spike strips were set out and Dagdag's tires went flat.

The chase ended when Dagdag got out of his car around Sheyenne High School and asked the police to shoot him. Authorities claimed they used a taser to stop and arrest him.

Dagdag was arrested for fleeing in a motor vehicle, DUI, resisting arrest, possession of a concealed weapon and illegal possession of marijuana.

Police are now looking for the pistol Dagdag allegedly used in the shooting. Police say it's likely a small caliber handgun that could be found anywhere between 25th St. N. to Main Ave. to 9th St. E in West Fargo.
