I would like to know if there is a problem with the single guy that in Hustler Club. I went to the Hustler Club Las Vegas last week and I have a problem with the female staff member. Me and two of my friends went to the Hustler Club New Orleans a few days ago and decided to have a few beers. I wanted to walk around the club to see what the club look like from different place. To find a good place to seat without getting in the way. I wanted to asked a few of the female staff a question but they just walk away from me or just made up something to walk away from me. After I went back to my friends the female that walk away came up to to take or get my name. I didn't talk or pay attention to them. And try to get a drink from the bar not from one of the waitress, just better go up to the bar and get it yourself. Because you might get rum and coke, but you order jack and coke. Or you order a Budweiser's you get another type of beer. So is a summary of what I think of the Hustler Club. If you with a group is good if you want to go out on your own don't because you will become invisible to the female. Get your drink from the bar.

We came in to this friendly looking bar with good reviews for food, and were a little disappointed. The bar is cash only and apparently not associated with the back patio. We sat in the back outdoor patio to watch football on their TVs, very nice and comfy spot. We sat for maybe 10 minutes before a server came by to explain the bar/food situation. Food can be purchased with card, and there's water available. We ordered a burger and the beef empanadas. 30 minutes later, our food arrived. The burger did not come with fries, but was tasty. The beef empanadas came in 4 halves. They were really good with the cheese sauce, but I could only finish half since they were so oily.

Ok so we were out with a Large Team from work & someone said that another Co-Worker was on stage to which I was like What?!?!? I had no idea what was in store but off to the CM we went... OMG it was instant great atmosphere from the moment we walked in the door. Loud, Crazy, Complete Crowd participation. Just knew this was going to be a memorable experience. We put in our name (our team slowly grew the longer we stayed)... The host is all about the place and was a great host. The person actually running the Karaoke (not sure if its the same) might have been better had they not kept putting the same 2 girls on stage, I almost want to take off another star for this but oh well... The place was packed & so many people were waiting to get on stage, but the same few girls (yeah I know the skinny pretty ones) kept just getting up & then FINALLY it was our turn.. AND OMG there was like 10 of us and we had the best time... Total Crowd song & the whole place was going nuts... We then made our way up to the bar & the drinks are CHEAP... In the beginning I was down near the stage & other people just kept buying my drinks so I have no idea what they were costing, but then I bought a few rounds & Its cheap to drink here in NOLA back home (Boston) youd be out $100 after just 2 rounds... But this was fun... The place is quite big & just a total fun environment. If back in New Orleans it would be my first stop (bar) to go with the BF... I got my shirt & cup so I can rep the CM at home!

Went to this place two nights in a row and it was cool. The host definitely makes it fun and the people who perform are really good! Unfortunately, I was not one of these people lolWent there on a Monday and Tuesday night and it wasn't a bad place to hang out. Crowd was a good size for a week night! Drinks were kind of expensive and they don't let you bring in outside drinks which is kind of lame.

This club has a cover fee during events but usually free for anyone willing to enter. They have good talent but most of them try to pull you upstairs for some magic.

- Good talent

- Two stages expensive drinks

- Great layout not crowded

- Expensive for lap dances

There are two stages that the girls rotate through and the long/narrow layout doesn't get too packed like more other places around. While it's expensive for lap dances and the drinks are over-priced you at least have some good eye candy.

Four stars for talent and two stars for the prices.

This place double charged me for two drinks with $150 dollar charge. I contacted to inquire about the charge and was explained that the waitresses are to inform customers when opening a tab there will be a $150 authorization charge which will remain in your account for 3-5 business days. Fallon (who appeared to hate her job btw), our waitress did not explain anything to us as I would never open a tab with $150 authorization for only a few drinks max if this was known. Outside of this, Penthouse was boring and stale. This is the best gentleman's club in NOLA but that's not saying much. Dancers are boring, all stay huddled in corner on cell phones, and are plan boring. If you're not from NOLA then lower your expectations for this club and all others.Edit: Two drinks we had were good so rating gets bumped up to 2 Star

I have never enjoyed a karaoke night when the host is the only one who sings. I do not call that Karaoke! Maybe the host should check his ego and let the people who come into the bar sing. Absolutely awful place. We went here for my joint Bachelor/Bachelorette weekend. There was a mixture of guys and girls in the group. We paid a lot of money for VIP service as it was our last night and the obligatory strip club visit and honestly I was looking forward to it. We enter the club and hand over our receipt and were told to join the line! Maybe he didn't see our receipt properly... Yup he did, join the line! what!?Turns out there is no specific VIP seating area they just told us we can sit anywhere, the service here is terrible except one waitress who was almost trying to sympathize with us for being treated like dirt but not really.None of the dancers came over to us until we called one over, my sister went to a table of dancers sat on their own (?) they explained they don't dance for girls as they are straight!?!?! Perhaps money from women is worth less than money from men?? My fiance got 3 dances in the end after practically begging them. The place is the most depressing room I have ever been in. AVOID please don't waste your time and money! Total rip off "VIP"!!!

Walked past and door staff and day manager Corey talked to us, I kept walking but they had a good vibe and turned around. Went inside and me and my girl and a blast. We stopped by everyday and we were welcomed in like family. One day the bartender ran around the bar to give us a hug. We were there for my birthday and we spent 4 days in new orleans. Spent 2000+ and and a blast for every dollar. The girls were awesome and beautiful as well. But if you go asked for Corey the day manager, tell the John said hi.

Can't say I agree with the previous reviewer because I am white, and we had the same problems. There were some nice looking girls, but they didn't seem interested in me or money. I was tipping $5/$10 per dance while they were on stage trying to get someone to come to my table and do some dances and maybe a champagne room. After their set the girls would walk by, say "thanks" (literally one word), and go sit back with whatever regular they were sitting with and getting no money from. I am not ugly, old, weird-looking, unclean, or in any way off-putting to look at. And I had a ton of money to spend. But what I wasn't was a regular. So the end result is I left with over $1200 in my pocket that I planned to spend. Most of the $150 or so I managed to give away went to the waitresses who at least were helpful. Oh well, I guess I will stick to New Orleans and/or Baton Rouge.

Went there last night with my wife for the first time. There were lots of strippers and most of them were pretty and fine, nice tits and big butts even the white girls. Everything was fine except two major problems. One, the bar service sucks big time. Understaffed and the one blonde girl is basically useless as she just talked to some regulars and completely ignored us for like 15 minutes before finally noticing us sitting right in front of her. The biggest problem, though, is many of the strippers boyfriends were in there. For one thing they were mean mugging everyone and created a bad vibe. Second, instead of their girlfriends working the room when they got off stage they would go sit with their boyfriends. We literally had to flag down a stripper for a private dance as none of them came by and offered, not even the ones we tipped on stage. The owner should ban all the strippers boyfriends from the club. They not only take up half the tables, which there are a limited amount of, but they're hindering the business as a whole. Don't get me wrong there's plenty of fine women and you'll have a good time, but it would be way better if they kept the boyfriends out. There was one Stripper we really wanted a dance from but her boyfriend was literally hounding her the whole time and actually rushed her to leave before the club even closed. Management needs to get on top of that. Their boyfriends are costing the girls and club as a whole probably a thousand dollars or more per night. Nothing kills the vibe more than trying to talk to a stripper and you look over and her boyfriend is staring at you like he wants to beat you up. Probably won't go back until I hear about them doing something about that because it really, really kills the vibe. Oh and how could I forget about the DJ. HORRIBLE! We didn't come to the club to hear the DJ yapping on the mic the whole night. And if he said "Look at all that pussy!" one more time I was gonna choke him. He looks like a creep and was annoying as hell. I guess he thought he was hyping things up but he wasn't he was terrible. We went there to see some ass and titties, not to see the creepy, old, methed out looking DJ walking around the club being annoying. Don't know what made them think that was good for the vibe of a strip club but it's not.

4.25 stars. Yes, it's absolutely touristy. Yes, the trashy shitshow that is Bourbon Street spills off of the street and directly into this venue on a regular basis. But if there is a better karaoke experience than Cat's Meow anywhere in the country, I've yet to see it. Now I've seen some people complain about the drinks here but Cat's Meow knows its audience. Namely, the idea of serving drinks in glass is simply a terrible idea when you have patrons so obviously beyond their usual limits. To wit, by the time we reached the second floor to take a Roman Colosseum view of the events below, two girls from a bachelorette party - one the bride and another an aging bleached blonde with a silicone chest - were fighting for crowd attention and eventually each other (silicone kicked the bride on the karaoke floor!). No one wants glass in a venue like that. By the way, if you don't particularly care to karaoke or dance, may I strongly suggest this second floor? From our original vantage point, you get a bird's eye view of all the lunacy. For example, we watched a horrific breakup (the girl grabbed another man's you know what right in front of her man), people falling on stage, the best drunk dancing ever, and the obligatory drunk people coupling from the balcony. The range of songs offered by Cat's Meow is quite good. But what really makes the event are the MC's who bring the party back every single time after a bad song. These dudes can sing, dance and are pretty much a bachelorette's dream as they are pretty sculpted too. Their ability to bring energy back into a place is borderline magical. It was my friend's b-day, and I was proud that she left the second floor and was having fun dirty dancing with the MC's. Eventually, all of us participated in either dancing or singing, and just had a great overall time. If you're looking for a place where you're encouraged to leave your inhibitions behind in a positive manner, Cat's Meow is the appropriate tonic.

As write this review I am currently the Penthouse club. Probably the best Gentleman's club in New Orleans by far. I have been to Penthouse many times. Unlike Ricks who are douhbagsnand will lie to you about what girls are there Penthouse is always honest. Additionlly, after you prove that you arw a loyal customer and that you tip the girls you get other perks. I am very particular, and there is one girl that I really like. Stacey (stage name) an extremely beautiful Korean girl that seems very illusive and eazy to miss. On the occasions that I have been I had 1.5 dances from a girl named Suki. She said that it was 90 + tip. I went ahead and gave her 100, knowing I was overcharged, but maybe some people dont understand the concept of repeat customer. It may seem trivial, but it meant a lot to me.Nonetheless, then extremely honest and accomidating staff combined with the lack of, pressure found out other clubs makes this by far an amazing eeriemce. My favorite.THIS WAS ALL BEFORE I LEARNED THEY HAD WIFI, HOLY SHIT I JIZZED MY PANTS OR SOMETHING.The girl I really like isn't here very much so it makes comeing here an ehhh feeling for me. But as I write thid very review I am on my Ipad. Wholy shit... haveing wifi (nearby hotel) makes this place like.... the best. Even if you don't like the girls (which is unlikely if you have a penis, I just happen to be extremely picky and I like Asian girls). You can fucking browse email and do other shit you need to do. Reddit, holy shit thismis the most amazing upset one could ask for. Anyway, even if there isn't who I want I am always happy leaving here knowing I am treated with respect, curtiousness, and dignity.

I really have to say that I so enjoyed coming to the Cat's Meow! If you are looking for a place to do karaoke on Bourbon Street then look no further. I recently came here several times while bar hopping down Bourbon with some friends and it wasn't too bad, not crowded at all! The last night we came some friends did karaoke. The bar provides you with a list of songs available according to genre then you go up to the hostess and tell them which number it is so that they can write you down on the list. Once it gets closer to your time they'll write your name down on the board and announce it. Wow did I have a blast even the locals will have you dying! I was a bit sad that they had NSYNC but not the Backstreet Boys otherwise I would've sang my tiny heart out! They should put more song selection out there but overall I did enjoy this place!

THIS IS NOT A BBQ JOINT! ONLY 1 RECENT SPECIAL IN MAY 2016 HAD BBQ. So we came here looking for BBQ and were completely disappointed. I had potato skins - they were fine. Friend had loaded fries and bacon-wrapped shrimp. The shrimp smelled so bad the server nicely took it off of our bill. I just won't take a chance with food poisoning! Nice server.

Sometimes things are free for a reason. That seems to be the case with Temptations. It'd be generous to say this is a subpar strip club...at moments if felt like an outright scam. Whatever you save on admission, you'll pay for in exorbitant drink prices which are notoriously light on alcohol. That could be worth it with the right "entertainment" but honestly dancers were not very exciting. Most didn't seem all that interested and unfortunately weren't very attractive. Overall avoid this spot if you can.

Try a different place, avoid this. Although all eight of our party had put our names on the karaoke list for different songs, along with a handful of other people, we waited nearly two hours and left before any of us got our turn. It wasn't worth it. Why? The DJ kept getting up and singing entire songs himself solo (not well!) and taking breaks between customers to dance entire songs. We realized you could tip him and his girlfriend/sidekick to get bumped up the list. But we went elsewhere, spent our drinking money and had a blast. Disappointing as we all thought it would be a fun group thing. And two of us are singers and know how to get s crowd going. There are too many choices in the city to waste time in a crap joint like this. I've been to lots of karaoke bars. This one was about the DJ's ego.

Had an amazing time here last weekend for my friends bachelor party. We had about 16 guys and rented the second floor of temptations for vip bottle service. It was priced extremely reasonable. We had the whole second floor to our selves with a balcony, pool table, and two Stage for the dancers to dance. The girls were beautiful and nice. There might have been two girls out of 28 that I didn't like which is pretty good odds. We had an amazing experience thanks to our bottle host guy, daniel who made our experience great. He was honest and upfront about everything. He made sure we had dancers at all times, he made sure everything was taken care of from our bottles, mixers, beads to throw, and that wet had a great time. I would recommend this place for all bachelor parties and even if you are by yourself or a small group and don't want to buy a bottle they have a great first floor for everyone. Can't wait to go back!

A BUNCH OF CROOKS...AND VERY LITTLE "TALENT"!! Three points should sum it up (and hopefully make you think twice about visiting this dump):1. Mediocre talent (and saying this is a stretch, disgusting might be more fitting). Most girls were thin on top, many were heavy on the bottom half; no classic Penthouse pinup figures in this place if that's what you're looking for. Most of the guys in the place probably had bigger breasts that all but one of the girls we saw dance. Pole dancing -- forget it, no talent when we were there (Barely Legal had some excellent pole dancers, however).2. Priicccceeeeeyyyyyyy. Cover charge $12/person (and wouldn't wave it for my lady). Three drinks came out to be $49.75 (with tax and tip). Whew! At least they had a bit of alcohol in them.3. CROOKED, DISHONEST MERCHANT. We were there for about an hour, had 3 drinks, no dances, then left. Got a phone call from Capitol One's fraud dept the next day. SOBs at Penthouse charged us for an additional $150!! Capital One caught it and flagged it as fraud immediately. Of course, my card was compromised so couldn't use it the rest of the trip (good thing I had a second card!). Conclusion: There's absolutely no reason to go to the Penthouse club unless you want to bore yourself watching not-so-attractive women, pay for expensive drinks, and have to possibly deal with fraudulent charges and these RIPOFFS!STAY AWAY!! P.S. I learned my lesson in NOLA as this was one of two fraudulent transactions in 3 days -- go to an ATM, pay in cash. The character of most of these merchants stinks worse than Bourbon Street!

My friend and I flew into New Orleans early Tuesday morning and after checking in, decided to hit Bourbon Street. After walking for awhile we decided it was time for a shot and Ricks was the next bar in sight! After a friendly gentleman at the front door checked our IDs we decided to sit at the front bar. The bartender, Sara was great! We wanted to try one of the liquors which are made in house, she recommended the cilantro, lime and I believe, habanero infused tequila. It was delicious! Our plan was to only have 1 shot and move along but we ended up staying for a shot and about 4 drinks. Sara was great and super friendly! We will def be stopping back in to see her before we leave!

This is for the tourists. If you want to hear a bunch of drunk people scream into a mic trying to sing along with the karaoke, this is for you.If you are looking for a traditional bar, go somewhere else. This is a hot-spot for the young twenty-somethings that are typically obnoxiously drunk. It will always be a landmark on Bourbon, and always has a crowd.

If you are going to NOLA this is the spot hands down. 5 of my friends and I went in two nights in a row both nights as soon as we walked in we got a table immediately and that was walking in around midnight or so the place was packed the cocktail waitress were on point the drinks wernt watered down like most places. The ladies were exponential. The doorman was friendly remembered our faces like we were bestfriends. The funny part is you can watch what the girls are doing they stay away from sleeze balls. Most importantly cant really go in to detail (what happens at the penthouse stays there) my advice dress nice act casual and you will have one hell of a night to remember. Also be ready to lay down some money after all it is a high end gentlemen's club. PENTHOUSE FOR PRESIDENT!

I just realized I forgot to check in here and I am so disappointed! I was in Cat's Meow about a month ago while visiting New Orleans with my dad and boy did we have a blast, alright maybe a little too much fun on my part but regardless it was a great time! If you like karaoke, then this is the spot for you. They have a huge music selection and a nice big stage! I was almost up there, but unfortunately I did not have enough liquid courage which was suprising because at that point I had had a lot! But theres always next time. Everyone is pretty much a tourist on Bourbon street in general so everyone in Cat's Meow was also a tourist. Everyone was talking to one another, asking where they were from, why they are vision etc. It was like on big party. It made it easier for people to get on stage and for the most part, make a fool of themselves! Drinks were delicious and super cheap. The bartenders were great and very energetic and happy to fulfill your needs. Unfortunately I did not have it in me to go back before I left, but the next time I'm in New Orleans I will definitely be making a second stop here!!

The Wild Orchid Cabaret is a great club. Anyone who says that the girls aren't attractive needs to have there eyes examined. I used to work there and all of the girls are very attractive, sexy, very nice and easy to talk to. They always seemed very approachable to the clientele. The club is run by a girl and her husband and one of them is always on site making sure things run smoothly. It is small on the inside but that's what gives it its charm and laid back atmosphere. The DJ comes down and mingles with the crowd and the owners hang out at the bar and talk with the clientele. Every person that came through the door left looking like they had a great time. I've worked in a lot of clubs and the Wild Orchid is by far the best I've seen. Give the Wild Orchid a try and I don't think you'll be disappointed. Military and Police officers get free cover charge, and I promise you the girls are hot and friendly from the the owner to the dancers and even the servers. You'll have a good time.Jeff McMahen

Had more fun here than Hustlers across the street, the girls were more entertaining and you can't beat $2 shots of patron for $2 Tuesday. I will say this though, watch your pockets...my friend and I got a private dance and she managed to work his roll of cash out of his pocket. Luckily he checked and we found it on the floor magically.

I have never been treated so rudely, I would never go to this place again in my life. Zero stars if I could, this place is fucking pathetic. Place sucks. The Jell-O shots blow since they have no alcohol in them. Very touristy vibe aside from the worst singers on the planet. Some are funny and some should just never open their mouths. THE WAIT TIME IS AWFUL. I CANT EVEN!! I also find the security only consists of thugs. They just stand there mean mugging the shit out of you. God forbid you look happy at your job guys. They also freak out at the slightest movement. I mean for real I just wanted to stand up from my bar stool. And what's up with the those lame ass waitresses. They asked me 9 times in an hour if I wanted shots. If I said no once then leave me be. I know where to find your annoying ass. Appreciate you wanting me to be drunk and have a good time but it will never happen with those weak ass shots. If you go here, please go during happy hour where they surrender to your will otherwise it's a shit hole.

OK, for the record this review and the accompanying 2-star rating are for one particular menu item and not a reflection on the rest of the restaurant or the bar (it's one my favorites in the Quarter)I'm sorry, but what is presented as a "Po-Boy" at this place bears almost no resemblance to the actual New Orleans sandwich of the same name. Unless you enjoy paying $13+ for seven shrimp (7, I counted 'em), served on what amounts to a glorified hot dog bun.Man, I can't say how disappointed I was. Cuz I really like MRB's otherwise. Great bar for watching football games and hanging wit da locals (of which, I am one). And the restaurant does other things pretty good. They boil crawfish and shuck oysters on the half-shell. And I used to love the wings! This trick may work on the touristas, but I promise I will never fall for that one again, my friends.Get yourselves some frickin' Leidenheimers po-boy BREAD, put a FAIR amount of shrimp/oysters/catfish etc. on there, dress it up nice and THEN you can start talking about having "Po-Boys" on your menu. Oh, and uh.. THIRTEEN DOLLARS, bruh??? Come on, man.

We found this little gem as we ventured closer to unknown territory. I was very surprised by the good quality of the bar/venue and being able to access the balcony and move freely on it. This isn't in the heart of Bourban Street but for me it fit my needs of being less crazy! This was a very fun bar every time I went! You can view their cameras online to see their activity year-round, which might help you decide on going. Check it out!

Ok, I get it. It's a place on Bourdon Street and the wait for karaoke is astronomical. However, after waiting for over two hours to sing songs when the DJ literally sang his own song for every three patron songs- come on, dude. Give the people who are buying the drinks a shot. We all just ended up leaving. In addition, I actually didn't enjoy the crowd very much. A lot of country crowds and country songs- which I have nothing against- it's just not my scene. I probably wouldn't stop in on another trip. And it's a damn shame, because I could have had a super good time at this place.

This place is rough around the edges but has a lot of character. Stopped by before my fight on a Monday around 1pm..some of the locals were already here drinking. It's a dive bar and they accept only cash at the bar but you can pay in credit for food. They also do not serve you alcohol at the table you have to go to the bar to get drinks! The happy hour starts early so if you have time to kill before a flight definitely check this place out. The happy hour is Monday - thur 11:30-4 on their oysters. My first time trying chargrilled oysters and they were delicious! The server in the patio works really hard and is extremely nice. Will come back next time I am back in New Orleans!!

The bar here is cash only, but the prices are reasonable. The bartenders can be a bit abrupt and you will have to ask for service. The restaurant is a separate business and is very good. The chargrilled oysters are awesome as are the poboys. They don't always have food service so you may want to check when you go in if you are there for food.

Beautiful club and beautiful girls! HUGE PLUS...they have great happy hour specials from 5-8pm. This isn't just a strip club, it's a place I feel comfortable hanging out with friends. They've won multiple national awards such as strip club of the year and general manager of the year. This club is run extremely well, so if you're trying to find a brothel this isn't the place for you! I may be biased but I challenge someone to find a better strip club in the area.

It was one of those nights where Mimi's started to get crowded, so we headed across the street to this place. I had never been before, and there weren't many people here when the bartender introduced himself- I think his name was Steve. We chatted briefly with a nice couple that was sitting at the bar. They explained that they were neighborhood regulars and raved about what a great place it was. I had to agree- they had good music on the speakers and everyone was having a good time. There wasn't much else going on this particular night. We all just sat around and talked and had a good time. I'd return.

I wandered in on Halloween after the parade around the corner for some oysters. The bar was lively but not crowded, great rock music playing, sports on the TV. There were 2-3 bartenders behind the bar and they all seemed to be pointedly ignoring me, have no idea why. I made eye contact, smiled, and still they would pass me over for people just coming up to the bar, or to do nothing at all in a corner. At one point one even looked right at me and then went back to what she was doing. Don't get it man, it was the only service I had while in New Orleans that was less than fantastic. Finally a totally different bartender came behind the bar and got me a beer the moment she saw me. Even if you're sitting at the bar a waitress comes around to you for your food orders and she was nice. I got the char-grilled and raw oysters, and the raw oysters don't come on ice. Really odd. I get it's kinda divey here but that just doesn't seem good for the oysters. It's a fine enough place, if I were in the area I'd give it another shot.

On the one hand - if you can get on stage to sing a crowd pleaser, you feel like a rock star. There is a free balcony upstairs so you can be above the B Street fray. They do 3 for 1s similar to many bars during happy hour.Where I've lost it with this place is they have a very small play list of songs. Many karaoke bars have unlimited playlists. Maybe it's to keep crowd pleasing songs vs songs of self indulgence. But I think they could open it up to have more relevant dance or electronic music (Flo Rida, Coldplay, etc). Also - the wait to get on stage can feel like an eternity - I went at 6PM on a Thursday and it was over an hour. If you go at 9 on a Saturday forget it. They do allow call ahead - but it's hard to plan ahead like that when you are in the Quarter. In fact, the call ahead/book online seems to allow for groups to dominate the stage for 4 or 5 songs in a row.So - it's still fun but I've had a better time at Karaoke bars in New York.

Was here with a group of guys and they did a good job accommodating the group. Some enjoyed the atmosphere and the alcohol. But to really enjoy yourself here you need to be into tattoos and be okay with the median BMI of the performers being higher than you might otherwise expect from an establishment of this nature.

So last night I was wandering down Bourbon Street when the Cats Meow caught my eye. Perhaps it was the drunk white girls, perhaps it was the music, or the insane homeless men yelling through the front window watching the show. I suspect it was a combination of the 3!Anyway I've been traveling the area completely alone and I said to myself "what the hell just get in there" so I did. While a essentially a dive bar with a huge karaoke stage the atmosphere was electric, the drinks were reasonably priced, and the staff very pleasant. If you are looking to jump into a ready made party, this is the place for you!

This place could be awesome. Could be. They waste, literally 10 minutes between singers letting there friends sing. Ugh, waiting game while they let their buddies sing. COME ON MAN! You have an amazing set up, perfect opportunity for you to have possibly one of the best karaoke bars in the country, but you manage it like a dumbass. It's a karaoke bar, let your customers sing back to back without your lame bullshit in between. You could be the best, possibly in the country, but it take 15 minutes between songs. Why????

This review is for the voodoo/ vampire burlesque show only- outside we were told the burlesque show contained acts such as the girls walking on nails and dancing with snakes. We thought it would be a unique show to check out so went in. The show was really just strippers in different costumes and contained none of the "acts" described at the door. It started much later than the time listed so in the meantime it was just a normal strip club. I guess as far as strip clubs go it wasn't awful, but very disappointing in terms of the advertised burlesque.

My friends and I are huge karaoke people and we're excited to visit "the bourbon st karaoke bar" we were very disappointed in our experience. 1) The song list is VERY limited. 2) My husband's $7 miller lite and my $7.50 watered down vodka and tonic was robbery 3) Some of the songs have voice tracks on them! It's not karaoke! 4) this last point really got to us; the host sings a song BETWEEN EVERY SINGLE PERSON super annoying! I suppose that's a tactic to keep you in there buying yheir over priced drinks. AND they talk over you while you sing! That's very disrespectful to your patrons. For karaoke regulars like myself, steer clear of this place.

100% horrible experience. Decided against my better judgement to go for a private dance and that consisted of nothing but constant up charges and interruptions and before I knew it time was up. Would never recommend and will never go back. Lesson learned.

I have been to this club many times and recently have been disappointed by the past three weekends I have came in. I do not enjoy how the music is no longer the same. I am really upset by how they have hired all new people and I haven't seen a few of favorites

This was the most entertaining experience while on Bourbon. This place was pretty crowded though the bars were very accessible. We were able to go upstairs and watch the show from the balcony. We also went to the outdoor balcony and were able to see a lot of Bourbon. I had a lot of fun here. Definitely worth stopping in here.

If I could label it under no stars I would. I orderedA vodka soda and I took probably two sips out of it and went to restroom only to have the "wonderful" staff throw it away.l. I tried to buy shots for our group and I was told 7 shots was going to cost is $95 dollars. RIDICULOUS. And such a joke considering said bartender was rude as hell and no one even acknowledged my friends and I because they were busy eating cake...I just want people to know not to visit this place. So rude and awful service at anotherBar. Not even pretty dancers. Ew

This "MC" thinks she owns the stage and performs between every customer so what might be a 20 min wait turns into an hour or more because she thinks she is the best entertainer and will not stop singing even when you say I'm here and I'm next. That thing needs to take a step down and just introduce the customers paying for drinks and paying to sing. Whoever the owner is they need to fire that bitch. She is so unnecessary and a waste of money

Service and girls are great! On the negative we got a couples dance and two young security guys first asked me why was there while my wife got her dance. We explained and then it was fine. However another guy came during my turn and asked my wife the same thing and was very rude. We will go back because no drink minimum and no cover. Also the talent was good. Management said the would address the issue.

Went on a Friday, wasn't too busy but it might of been too early for a crowd..so got to sit up front in all the action with my girls. The dancers were lovely, not too much "pole" action or tricks..but still entertaining. ONE in particular caught our eye, can't recall her name (sorry..if you read this..I get distracted easily..but you were GORGEOUS!) but after her dance she came over and introduced herself to us along with another dancer , sat and chilled for a good 10-15 mins talked some "girl talk" we didnt get lap dances because we just went in to relax before leaving town and not get "full service" lol ..and then they went on their way..but it was nice of them to stop by. The establishment is not too lit up but not like "damn..cant see the person sitting next to me" kinda darkness. Our bill was close to $80 for seven drinks..so not too bad. We will definitely go back next time we're in N'awlins. Thanks ladies for the hospitality..keep up the nice work :)

Female strip clubs are not usually my thing ---- but i think i have more fun there than any other place on Bourbon Street. The girls are sweet, cute and you can tell they take care of themselves. Other strip clubs on Bourbon are janky STD infested dumps i would not put my big toe in frankly. Libby, Russell K, and Andy are managers who clearly know what they are doing. To pick out one girl as a standout would be hard to do- they're ALL amazing.

I have been overcharged for drinks here so make sure you ask for a receipt when you order (the waitress said $57 but i asked for a receipt and it was $47...this happened a few times over a few visits). The talent has been lacking all but one time and the prices for dances is fair. The alcohol is way overpriced (even more so than you'd expect) and the stages aren't utilized very well. That are better places literally on the same street within 100 feet.

I give it between 3 to 4 stars for my experience on Friday night. On Friday, as you should expect, it was ultra packed. The girls are all 5 stars, but because it was packed, I didn't really interact with any of them, nor did they interact with me. Personally, I look for interaction rather than a show. So, I can't rate the quality of their private dances, because I wasn't given any opportunity to get one. I'm sure if I really pursued, I could've gotten one, but I wasn't that motivated to squander my money. One girl was really amazing on the pole, though. I asked her to give my friend a lapdance. He enjoyed it, so that's a plus. She wasn't very friendly though, and said up front no touching, so that was kind of eh.The place was clean and well-lit, so that's another plus. Anyway, just know what you're getting into if you go. Pay a ($14, I think?) cover, gradually take over some bar stools so that you and your friends can sit, see some beautiful girls being busy with the many other guests that are present, and debate whether you want to go out of your way to spend a lot of money on a private dance.

One of my favorites in NOLA. Penthouse is always beautiful and clean... By far one of the cleanest ones (or at least that's how I feel) when I visit. The dancers are variable... Typically at night you'll have prettier girls and the aggressiveness of the girls has also varied. I consider this typical of most clubs so I don't consider that in my rating. It's just part of the business. The drinks are pricey too, but where aren't they? The staff has always been sweet to me and I love that the girls and DJ have not(at least while I've been there) ever berated customers for not tipping.Like all NOLA clubs, many dancers are transient so if your issue with the club is dancer related... Give it another go on your next visit.
