This past weekend, we decided to go out for one of my best friends birthday and celebrate since we didn't get the opportunity to do so earlier. We met up for drinks in Uptown, then went to a roof top party, then decided to go to The Furnace.....As a group of 5 women, we went in, first to sit on the sofas in the back section. We ordered air 10 jello shots and then...... My bf decides to get $800 cashed into 800 ones... This is when the night turned extremely interesting lol. Before this time, we were not noticed. Lol! As SOON as the waitress went to cash out the 100s, the manager came over to speak to us and see how we were doing. No sooner had we gotten the ones, we were ushered to the seats right in front of the stage. Dancer after dancer came out, dancing directly in front of us. We were then brought the money gun! MAKE IT RAIN MAKE IT MAKE IT RAIN!!! Lol! And yes we had a ball shooting ones across the stage! Now as a bartender, I pride myself on knowing how to make most any drink and can tell what liquor has been used in a drink when I get it. I ordered a couple of Bob Marleys for us. When we got them, they weren't the right color, and definitely didn't taste right. They were nasty and actually hurt my stomach. All in all we had a decent night. Oh, one more thing- we would have definitely enjoyed it much more if they had had a better variety of dancers/women
First time here, came for the meeting of the minds. I didn't realize it was a gentleman's club until I walked in. Great food, drinks, and atmosphere.
Very comfortable, well-decorated, modern club. The bartenders were friendly, drinks were moderately priced, the music was better than I expected...and not a single unattractive dancer. The Furnace may be one of only a few gentleman's clubs in Birmingham, but it might as well be the only one. It's so far above its competitors. My husband and I had a great time, the dancers weren't pushy, they seemed to enjoy their job, the entire atmosphere was fun and energetic...and this was from 2am-4am when we were there. We can't wait to go back, and spend more money. :-)
I was not too sure about this place because it was in the middle of no where but I ended up very surprised . Nice inviting r and good music . I went with my boyfriend and I liked the fact that there was a lot of couples there . Drinks are pricey though so I recommend you drinking before you go just to get get a good buzz before you go . The girls were pretty good too . You had a variety and about half were good looking . I would definitely go again with my boyfriend .

Furnace, like any other strip club, can easily be your best friend of your worst enemy. It all just depends on how well you can work "the system." Fortunately, I know how these places work on the inside so, they became my best friend. If you don't know how to work it, then Furnace will be just another clip joint trying to milk you for all you're worth. The door staff will come up with excuses as to why your cover charge is more than everyone else's...or why you even have to pay one.If you lack self control, street smarts, or aren't good with women then you will get hustled by the girls(its not that they're good hustlers, its just that most men who let themselves get hustled are stupid). On the other hand, if you're in control of yourself, you can have a great time. The girls know what most guys who go to strip clubs are like and take advantage of them, so don't be one of them. Be firm and confident, straight up tell her if she's not your type...and if she is, be funny and easy going, tip a lot but a little at a time, and odds are you'll have fun. You also don't have to spend thousands or bribe bouncers to get a seat... If you're in good with the said dancer, just have her hook it up. The girls! Thats the main thing right? Well, the ones at Furnace are Southern, and I only love Southern gals, especially from Alabama or Georgia. They are-definitely some of the best looking dancers in town overall. Although it depends on what time and what day you show up. The music policy, at least late at night... is better than what you hear at the clubs in town.Locals should never pay a cover. If they try to charge you one they're scamming you. They follow the Vegas rule. Lap dances are $20. Don't pay more than that. Some, maybe most, of the dancers will try to scam you because they're used to guys who let themselves get hustled. If they act like their sh*t doesn't stink, give you a sob story, or try to manipulate you, move on to the next one. Straight out tell them you're not a trick. There are plenty of hotties there so don't worry. While my advice may sound somewhat forward, believe me, you'll get a lot more respect when you don't have "sucker" written on your forehead. This place is a walk in the park compared to clubs in San Francisco, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. I had a lot of fun and enjoyed my time.
