Never ever ever go here! Went here on a random Saturday night because I heard they had live music...total mistake! First off you have to walk over a small sketchy moat/wooden bridge which probably isn't a good idea at the end of the night after a few drinks. There was a cover. Um, ok. Understandable IF the music is good. The bartender (middle aged woman who looked like she didn't own a comb and could care less about her appearance) acted as if we were inconveniencing her when asking for a drink. Asked for a shot of tequila. Nope. Didn't have it. Um, ok. Finally ordered other drinks and was overcharged (which I expected because seemed like there was an "inconvenience service charge" for asking her to do her job). Music started playing, well, I should say "wanna be rappers started doing what they thought was rapping". It was horrible. Nothing but a bunch of kids trying to be something that they're not...gangsta. Let it go. No one wants to hear you scream into a mic about how you grew up in the mean streets of Hackettstown. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! The ONLY good thing was we got our cover $ back. We only stayed 10 mins max anyways.

I was there the other day. They have what now passes for a dancer. She actually smelled so I only stayed for a few hours. I was the only customer.

I got bare back full service form Jo Ann on the pool table. It only cost me the price of a beer and a life time of AZT.

Jo-Ann still owns the place. It opens at 4pm. Dancers are a hit or miss. If no customers around they leave. Get there early and have some fun. Barbie is there on Weds nite

This used to be the hottest place around - 3 or 4 deep at the bar on Thursday and Friday afternoons. They had some of the sluttiest girls working here, basically topless but they almost all showed pussy too. Never figured out how they did it exactly but there must have been some kind of arrangement, but it didn't matter, it was all good dirty fun. They weren't all beauties but they were all born here in the USA! The good old days, back around 1985 or so.

Do not go here. Totally empty, even on a Friday night. And even if it wasn't, it looks like my grandfather could've wired the lights better. Too bad, it's nicely secluded.

The minimum age of the dancers here is 50. The only thing they don't do is bring their walkers on stage with them. This is the place dancers go when they retire or are too old for The Rest a Bit.

What time did you go there? Tracy, the bartender claims she's been opening the place at 4 in the afternoon. It looks like they are trying to have 4 dancers on Friday nights. (By the way, Sherry was fired.)

It must depend on the definition of "open". If the lights off and door locked means open, then I guess you're right. How much are they asking? The place needs a lot of work but maybe there's hope.

Really, are they that bad, actually scary? I was thinking of helping myself to a beer and leaving some money on the bar, but it was just too weird to be in an empty place. I thought that the idea of a bar was so that one didn't have to drink alone!

To nobodys home . You were lucky no one except a ghost was there because the usual dancers are much scarier. This place has no redeeming qualities. Sorry Pavillion but your not even trying.

I stopped in here the other day at about 4pm, and nobody was there. By that, I mean maybe just Evie's ghost - but no people. The door was open, some lights were on, but there was nobody there. No customers. No bartender. Nobody. It was too eerie so I left after a minute or so.

I have been going to the Pavillion for 15 years. It never changes. However, in the last few visits there has been some drama there. Drunk dancers, arguements with bartenders, Joannes attitude. It's not as fun. When I go to a go go bar I want to enjoy myself, not refere fights. There is a "Kitchen Opening Soon" sign up. I imagine that means by 2008. The town always drags their feet on giving Joanne permits and inspections so don't hold your breath. There is a private dance spot for $20 a dance ($10 to the house, $10 to the dancer) and the girls hit you up for tips big time. The good news to you old timers is (Wicked) Wanda is back. Still has the great attitude and a new set of boobs.

Just saw a former dancer at the Pavillion Lounge at Franks Chicken House in Manville dancing nude and looking outrageous. Man is Franks looking good with all new entertainers.

I stopped in about two weeks ago, there was no dancer (at about 4pm), supposedly one was on the way. The bartender's little daughter was running about, which I found odd for a go-go bar. Anyone else have any news on this place? Years ago (ok, maybe 20 years ago), this was my favorite place! It used to be packed two deep at the bar after 4pm.

I haven't seen much change in the exterior of the building in the past few months when I've driven by. There was a ladder leaning against the back of the building Monday, so maybe the rof is finally going to get fixed. However, JoAnne's "boyfriend" Art was sentenced to 5 years in jail a few months back. I've heard that she's depressed and is spending part of her time sitting in the bar drinking up the inventory. The way in which there seems to bit little activity on fixing up the outside of the building and JoAnne's putting off the re-opening doesn't make it seem like she really wants to re-open the place.

This has always been one of my favorite places but it has gone downhill lately. Hopefully, they'll fix it up a little. What I can't understand is why anyone would eat anything made in that kitchen.
