Poor management, thus poor training. We walked in and we told them we had a large group (12 people) they initially said a 15 minutes wait, then they came back and said at least 30 minutes, they never came back they never try to accommodate us they never try to offer us a seat outside as they did other people, and I initially asked there’s a possibility if we could sit outside and they said no because no one would serve us. However they open the bar and had service outside, so that’s a bold face lie. they did nothing at all to to seat us. They didn’t even ask if we are open to sitting in separate tables, because it was my friends birthday and this is what we told people he would be, we just left after two hours since there was absolutely no communication about the table. What kind of establishment do not train people how to handle crowds on Friday nights? specially when you think 12 is a crowd. First and last visit.

Great place to watch a game…IF you can get someone to do their job and change the channel. Huge tips if you decide to go here for a specific game 1. Know the channel beforehand (their provider is Direct TV), 2. Arrival at least 20-30 min before your game, because you’re going to have to ask about 3-4 times if they can change it, 3. Expect to be lied to, a lot…and expect a lot of excuses on why service is slow/bad. Lastly if you server’s name is Logan #649 expect a lot of attitude and no service at all. Tips for dealing with her 1. Place your empty glass at the end of the table and pray she sees that it needs refilled, 2. Do not expect her to have common sense at all as she couldn’t comprehend why not coming to our table for over 35 minutes was an issue. But again, if you put up with all that…good place to watch a game.

This place has a ton of potential. It’s off of a major freeway and there is decent free parking on the vacinity. It’s has great decor with indoor and outdoor seating options. There is a dj outside. He was awesome. There are TV screens are everywhere. And that is where my compliments end… So we were seated outside on a Saturday when they weren’t very busy. It took 20 minutes for someone to bring us a drink menu. Next we waited another 10 minutes before someone came to take our drink orders. THEN it took FOREVER to get our drinks. They brought me a mojito without mint leaves. I sent it back and I asked for a margarita… It was ok at best. I had to order a shot of grand marnier to make it better. I wouldn’t go back for the drinks. The service was bad and they were only at about 40% capacity. Can’t imagine how bad it would be with a full house. This place has potential but it needs some management.

Don’t ever come here to watch a soccer game because they won’t silence there music. Can’t hear the game announcing when most of the crowd is here for that very reason. Same thing w boxing matches this isn’t a true sports bar.

Average is the word that comes to mind. Big box, loud, with servers who are mostly cute but light on personality with an emphasis on slow service. My buddy and I stopped by for drinks and dinner and to catch up. The reality is this is not the place for two 55+ year old guys to hang out. If you’re 25 this is your place. Plenty of TVs so we did get to watch some of the Astros. Big menu with a lot of choices but mostly bar food. Cheeseburger was decent but the onion rings were a bit soggy.

Businesses should not discriminate. I can’t believe you kicked out a patron for tattoos and worst of all- u called the police to do it. This establishment is horrible and should not be supported.

Great food and great music this girl named daisy Olguin was the best server ever as well!!she did a very great job

If there was a ZERO star option, I would give that rating. This place has THE WORST SERVICE I have ever seen. I have given it several tries and time and time again the experience was simply horrible. The girls stand behind the bar and text. The drinks are weak. They screw up your food order every time. Do not waste your money here. A huge thumbs down.

This place sucks when it comes to customer service. They told us that we would have to sit outside if we wanted to sit and there was an open table right at the front. Then a young lady walked up asked if we had been helped and she sat us at the available table in the front. We sat there for over 10min before anyone said anything, even after that no one came. As people continued to come in they were being seated. This was my first time here and we will never come here again!!!!!!!!

Ghetto atmosphere, shootings in the parking lot, half asleep rent-a-cop security guard at the entrance, and to top it off – horrible, incompetent service….

  11. timmykilla

Food is good but service is so bad. Sat down at the bar and bartender rolled her eyes before she lifted a finger to help me. Fake smiles all around. When asking for help they act like they don’t hear you. Drive down a little further to bone daddy’s. So much better

  12. Olivia E.

This place to sucks no tattoos allow. The ask if you gang Why?????? The music is way to loud and you can’t watch the games on tv. Don’t go

Better than hooters, twin peaks & BWW. I’ve only been here twice to see UFC fights but the food is delicious and the wait staff is attentive. The hellcat bone in wings are a must try, the “bomb poppers” are some of the best around and the “b-29 bomber hog wings” bring something new & unexpected to the bar dining scene. It’s what i would call an adult orientated business so leave the kiddos at home unless you’re ready to have the “birds & bees” conversation. I’m in a commited relationship so not that i care, but the Fuqua location also has the lustiest bar maidens around. 5 stars!

  14. AssnTits5

Service sucks. Food has gotten me and a friend sick. Their security guards are disrespectful. Extremely hot in the summer. If you want to wait forever for a drink, come here.

  15. Jose G.

Ordered the steak dinner and it was terrible. Came out with a film of gravy like material on top of the steak. It was warm at best. And to top it off, it was $20 for that garbage.

We stopped here for the first time today for lunch and sat at the bar. Our bartender, Cristian, was a nice young lady who gave us great service. She is the only reason I’ve given this place 2 stars. The menus were dirty (mine held the greasy remnants of someone’s fried food from the night before), the cups, plates and silverware looked as though the dishwasher didn’t do its job, and the pulled pork nachos were just average. And now, the stomach-turner for us…as we were eating our nachos, another young bartender arrived. She had glasses and very long dark brown hair. I caught her name, but for the sake of this public review, I will let management figure it out. Unlike Cristian, this young lady failed to pull her hair up and she let it flow free…everywhere. Hair flowed across the drinking straws, the cocktail napkins, and across the counter where drinks were prepared. Her hair was parted on the side, so she tilted her head and constantly had to run her hands through her hair to keep it out of her face. Then, with those same hands, she touched bar fruit and various other things that might go in your drinks or food. We decided against ordering anymore food today. Needless to say, this will be our last visit to this establishment. Pretty disgusting.

  17. igor34

Piss poor management!! Mexico vs Chile in the Copa is a big game.. They had a DJ- when I asked the manager about the sound she said, we have a DJ.. Come on people, this establishment should have been prepared… Never come here to watch a sporting event.

  18. nickstrip

Still waiting on a waitress. Bombshells is the worst out of hooter, twin peaks. Every waitress I ask for who’s serving tells me she’ll find her. Manager should be fired.

  19. marlonmoney12

Horrible service and extremely overcrowded. If you want to be around a bunch of young, obnoxious adults with loud music and lazy staff members this is the place to be. I will NEVER come back here. The Bombshells near Dickinson is so much better. I had a great experience there. People actually wanted to help and assist you! Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Better off going there instead of here.

  20. billtheguy12

I’ve gone about 3 times during lunch with co-workers. It’s pretty much hit or miss with the service. You would think with these sports bars, they would have quicker service for the lunch crowd, but I’m not sure they care all that much. Anyway, the wings are pretty decent, the fries were seasoned to perfection the 1st two times we went. The 3rd time, the fries were horrible, I had to send them back, twice! I probably would go again, but not during lunch time. With my other wing options, I’d rather visit the other places before coming back to Bombshells. But at least they are better than Ojos Locos!!!!! That place was the absolute worst!

  21. William B.

If you want to wait along time for expensive mediocre food then this is the place for you. You also stand a 50/50 chance of receiving what you actually ordered. If you like dumb bimbo waitresses, cold beer and a noisy place to watch TV this place might be OK. Been here 6-7 times because it’s close to work and this is where others wanted to come but anyplace is better than this place.

  22. GarryWas

Food sucks, they open the bay doors so it’s hot. Waitresses are not about customer service.

  23. Nidia M.

Worst service I ever received. Food was mediocre and drinks were pretty good. The service oh my goodness took so long! I understand the food taking a bit but 30 min to get a drink order in and when the waitress came back and four of us ordered, half the order came out and mine took another 45 minutes…uh what!? And when I asked the waitress (after she ignored me twice) she gave me attitude and said they’re only bringing appetizers…uhh I ordered an appetizer!! She continued to give me attitude and actually brought us the wrong food and got ugly with us because we told her it was wrong. Another waitress and a guy had to take our orders again…then unfortunately she came back to “take care” of our table, she would walk passed us and we were trying to call for her to bring us another drink. I finally got her attention and told her to get me her manager … So I spoke to the manager and she said I’m sorry here’s a free appetizer coupon, uhm okayy so then she began to ignore us…I would think she would insure the rest of our time there would be better!! Again the shitty waitress I asked for my tab and she took another 30 minutes to bring it and I was sitting there with my money in my hand I looked the other way and she threw the receipt on the table, are you kidding me? So there I was again stuck waiting for someone to take the money to pay, then she came back to take everyone else’s payment but not mine, again what the heck? So she finally takes my tab after the third time and when 15min later comes back with my change she puts it on the table no SORRY or anything…he name was Amanda I believe…why I paid I have no freaking clue it was the worst!!! Another waitress apologized to me and said to come back another time and get her as a waitress….I understand it was busy and she was overwhelmed but you never treat people this poorly and at least apologize for taking so long or mixing orders! This was worse service than I had at Chulas.

Great new place with lots of potential on this side of town. Just like any other restaurant when brand new, it has a few kinks to work out but everything seems to be falling into place just fine. The food is great with various options on the menu. The setup was well thought out. It’s roomy with a lot of seating and TVs everywhere. There’s not a bad seat in the house. Managers and staff alike are very friendly and welcoming. They try their absolute best to make sure you feel welcomed when you visit an satisfied with your visit once you leave. I will definitely be going back.

  25. curtis17

Experienced the worst service I’ve come across in a long time. It took over half an hour for someone to come to our table. Even then they only stopped by after we told the bar we hadn’t been helped. It took twenty five minutes for two margaritas and a couple beers. Another half hour to close out. They quite literally did nothing without us having to ask. Will not return

  26. rickywho2

I have a quick lunch with an old friend here. We ordered wings and they were really good (we had the Buffalo Wings). Now let me tell you about the service. We had a little Diva taking care of our table. If she was unhappy, we do not have to suffer that long face. Staff definitely needs to be improve.

  27. Priscilla T.

Came in with a group of my girl friends & I guess since we weren’t guys we were not attended to right away. (They weren’t busy at all, the girls were just standing around) Service throughout my entire visit here was just poor.

  28. Franklyn

This place is really nice and the food is great. BUT the staff STINKS! WHY does it take so long to get our drinks and food? That’s all the things that made me unhappy. The place has lots of tv’s and great music. They have a DJ and he played lots of great music. They played hip hop, country, and rock. The atmosphere makes the place. WHAT HAPPEND TO THE STAFF IN THIS INVESTMENT? This is would make me not want to come unless I have all day to wait for drinks and food. Jon Taffer (bar rescue) could help this place out and get these girls in line.

  29. stripforme123

The place is cool. Lots of tvs, plenty of room and clean. Service is not the best unless your the everyday have nothing better to do with my life Regular. Hostesses were to busy on FB / Instagram to greet or acknowledge me. Sat at the bar and had to wait until the 2 bartenders got done with their intense card game with some dude before they realized I was there. The Captain Crunch chicken was greasy and my fries were cold and stale. When the garage doors are closed you can enjoy some music or maybe the big game but once opened you get the lovely sounds of I -45. Ahhh the sound of traffic and all of that wonderful Houston heat and humidity comes with it.

My first time here… came with a couple of buddies. Two of us ordered burgers… by far the WORST we’ve ever had. The best way to describe the burgers is pre-made burger patties… grilled with absolutely no seasoning!!! If I come again… will not be ordering. The third person had quesadillas… he said they were ok…

Half day! 2.5hrs of free time! If your driving to Galveston stop at Bombshell and grab a beer! This is the spot to set the tone for the weekend. Drink responsibly, don’t drink and drive.

  32. williamr

The food was decent, but the service was pretty mediocre. Everyone enjoyed their food. Im sure it’s even better during normal business hours. We got here around midnight. We all got our food super late and at different times which was kind of annoying. By the time we got the steak, the mash potatoes were cold. We also had to ask for a refill of drinks — both alcoholic and non — more than twice. The waitress was nice, but she wasn’t as attentive as she should have been, maybe it was because she was lost in conversation. Who knows. She just didn’t seem to know what was going on. Overall, the decor was nice and the place was clean. I would try it again. The music was good and although it was 6 of us, we got separate checks and no extra service charge for our large party.

  33. larry1

Place looks nice. Cold beer and good burgers.

  34. StripClub431

The pulled pork nachos are great but all I wanted was a Big Red Rita. That’s an amazing invention to add a big red soda bottle to a margarita, it’s advertised right on the table. Wish they had it in stock.

  35. XhXeXy

Went here once for a happy hour with a co-worker a couple months ago.The good: The beer was cold and the waitresses were pretty, and ample parking was available. The bad: the draft beer selection, my food order (the appetizer sampler platter) came out wrong, and was cold.I might give this place another shot, it might have just been to new-ness that the kitchen has to work out some kinks.

  36. David S.

Atmosphere was terrible. Food was awful. Just gross. Staff was not eye candy. And I watched them let a stumbling drink kid leave with keys in his hand. I tried to go out to stop him but didn’t see which way he went. I hate this place.

  37. rogerrab2

Since they first opened I wanted to try this place really bad! Looked like my type of bar and grill, good food, good music, tasty drinks, and I guess great “scenery” when with my guy friends too but after my first time here, it shall be my last! After 30 minutes of wait time,I ordered the Bombshell, my friend ordered pearl harbor and we shared fried calamari and chicken Quesadillas. we ordered so much up front since we did not know when we will be helped again. When our drinks arrived I was like “WOW” these are huge for $7!!! So worth it right???? NOT! Their drinks were watered down, the friend calamari tasted old, and the chicken quesadillas all of a sudden were turned into beef quesadillas! The only thing this place has it going for them is the ambiance. Food, drinks, and service NO!

  38. Lisa N.

I went again on another Thursday.I got to try more food, and by more, I mean ALOT more. We ordered the large sampler appetizer platter as well as four orders of the tacos, and an order of fried calamari. The large appetizer platter had fried jalapeños, fried queso sticks (not cheese sticks, QUESO), fried onion strips(?), fried chicken tenders, and fried pickles. The fried pickles were large pickle spears which was great. Fried to perfection. The fried jalapenos would be my favorite because the jalapenos are actually spicy! I have no idea how they fried queso because queso is.. runny? so that was interesting. I didn’t care for the fried queso, onion strips, and chicken tenders. ESPECIALLY the chicken tenders. There is absolutely no seasoning on those strips, not even an ounce of salt. I was mindblown as to how underwhelming the chicken tenders were. The tacos were like taco + quesadilla. The cheese was melted giving it that quesadilla quality. I didn’t order them so I’m not sure what it’s listed as on the menu, but I ate them nonetheless. I called them tacodillas. Maybe they were actually called that. lol. The drinks tasted better than the week before. The service was also alot better this visit. Our waitress checked on us many times, and every time she came back, we ordered something. Thank goodness she came to check up on us. I would come back for the fried jalapenos and the fried pickles. I am uping the rating for the better service that we received and the yummy jalapenos and pickles.
